Charlie immediately continued and said to Lauren, "You can call me Charlie. No 'Mr. Frank' anymore."

Lauren repeated Charlie's name quietly several times and suddenly felt that his name was so familiar to her. It seemed that she once called this name thousands of times. Lauren blinked her eyes, suppressing the strange feeling.

Lauren noticed his eyesight and then raised her head to look at him.

Charlie turned his head and his voice became cold, "I don't want to bother you, Miss. Bennett.”

"Why does he call me Miss. Bennett again? Didn't he just say that he would call her Lauren?" Lauren thought with confusion and en took a few steps, saying, "I am going downstairs." Charlie lowered his head and did not look at Lauren without saying anything.

Lauren took a glance at him before she walked out of the study.

After making sure that Lauren had left, Charlie suddenly jumped up from the bay window. He just couldn't believe this! She

tually left him! Lauren circled around in his study in sadness and there was nothing wrong with his feet.

When Lauren went downstairs, she happened to meet Daphne who came back from the garage.

"Why did you go upstairs?" Daphne was a little confused and asked Lauren.

Lauren pointed at Charlie's study and said, "Mr. Frank accidentally hurt his foot."

Then Daphne immediately went to find the medical kit, and ran upstairs quickly.

In the study, Charlie was still upset, but he soon heard someone running upstairs. "It must be Lauren!" Charlie thought with delight.

He soon sat back on the bay window and pretended to check his bruises.
