Directing Kara back to the chair, Frank whispered, “No matter how

“Sir,” Kara breathed hoarsely, “when will you stop putting me in danger? Do you realize that your actions could increase your grandfather’s hatred for me?”
Frank looked at Kara closely. He didn’t like seeing tears gathering in

we go.”
Frank directed her back to the chair. Kara surrendered.
Kara thought she was free, but apparently not. Instead, she was sandwiched between a couple who didn’t love each other.
An hour before the work hour was over, Frank approached the secretary at her desk. Kara was still focused on the monitor. When she noticed the CEO looking at her with a smile, she blinked in surprise.

Kara shook her head. “I just need to collect the materials your requested.”
