If Quincy hadn’t called so many people over, and Mrs. Stafford had stayed quietly at her parents‘ place and not suddenly barge in and insist on watching the footage there and then, who would have seen any of this? You mean I forced you all to do this?” 

Benedict was about to speak when Calista immediately cut him off. 

“Dad, you’ve lived forty over years, can’t you use your brain for once? You think Quincy invited so many people over only to embarrass herself? No! She wanted them to see ME embarrass myself! Mrs. Stafford was supposed to be at her parents‘ place, so why did she suddenly come home and play this footage? It wasn’t to show how immoral her daughter was, but it was to destroy MY reputation!
