"I mean...what's not there to understand?" He approached her and snatched the photo from her hands.

"You and I were born into the same pack, you see. You wouldn't have remembered me, but I recognised you the moment I saw you." He paced around the room."There aren't alot of white wolves running around, and that's one thing you share with your bitch of a mother!" His aura was dark and heavy, and those eyes....those menacing eyes.

Rosalie wasn't seeing the whole picture, she looked confused and it angered him. He ran towards her and slammed her up against the wall. His face was to hers, caging her in with both arms on each side.

"Let me fill you in, our dear little Rose." He was talking through his teeth. "That little article you found about the two packs was just the beginning of a long rivalry between to scorned brothers. It drove our alpha mad, and we had plans to overtake them by force."

"Y..you mean start a war." She stated.

"I guess you could say that." He smirked. "However that never happened because of your whore of a mother!" He grabbed her by the hair and she screamed.

"You see she went to her sister, who was part of the enemies pack and warned her about our little plan, and unbeknownst to us, they made the first move. Because of her my family is dead!"

Rosalie looked to the door. She wanted to make a run for it. But fear froze her in place. Locklin could see she was looking for a way out. He threw her on the floor, and grabbed her by the throat.

"There we go." He said. He moved his head towards her and she quickly looked away. "This reminds me of that night so long ago when you took off running in the woods."

He then whispered in her ear. "When we killed your mother and father."

Rosalie quickly turned to face him. Anger took hold of her as she tried to fight him off. He was to powerful. She tried to scream, but he slapped her in the face. It sent a ringing in her ear, and was dazed for a brief moment. She tried to mind transfer but he was able to intercept it.

He filled her head with those words. It sent her hands to her ears and she wanted to scream in agony, but he kept slapping her in the face. He finally stopped, when he saw blood. Not only was she in pain, but she could barely breathe with him on top of her. He put his hands on her throat and leaned forward to talk in her ear again.

"I'll let you in on another secret. The night I killed your parents.. it was much like this. I watched the life drain from your mother's eyes, while I chocked her with my bare hands..........and your next."

Rosalie could feel his hands tighten around her neck. He was making sure to do it slow, so he could watch. She tried to fight back one last time, but the room was getting darker. The last thing she was going to see was his menacing grin.

Suddenly the door flew open. It was Jesse. Locklin looked at him. Jesse looked at Rose on the floor with Locklins hands on her throat. Jesse growled at Locklin, and took his jacket off and shifted. He lunged. Locklin scrambled to finish Rose off but Jesse bullrushed him into the desk, where it then turned into a stand off.

Rosalie opened her blood shot eyes and gasped for air. She rolled to her side and grabbed her throat, trying to get in as much air as possible. She was so focused on getting air she had yet to realise Jesse and Locklin were fighting just feet away from her. Locklin didn't bother shifting. He took the wolf on in his human form. He wasn't born an alpha, so Jesse had a chance. Alpha's that are from a bloodline of alpha's are the strongest she thought. Jesse was able to jump up and take hold of Locklins shoulder. Locklin let out a painful grunt. Rosalie was finally able to catch a breath. She tried to call out Jesse's name but nothing came out. Locklin pried Jesse off from his shoulder and threw him against the book shelf. Rose could tell it winded him. She tried to go to him, but she couldn't move. Locklin then grabbed Jesse by his hind legs and lifted him up over his head. Rosalie reached out to him.

"Don't!" She thought.

Jesse looked at her helpless, and that's when Locklin through him out the bay window.

"Noooooooo!" Rosalie tried screaming. Locklin turned to her and started to make his way to her. She frantically turned around towards the door and tried dragging her body. She then felt him grab her by the foot and pulled her back in.

"I'll make this quick!" He told her.

He got on top of her again looking to finish the job. Another growl could be heard just outside the office. Locklin looked up to see Sam running full tilt towards him. He threw his hands up to block the blow but Sam ripped him off of Rosalie with seconds to spare. She quickly rolled off to the side. She was able to grab her composure and watched Sam take Locklin on. The room was in shambles, from the two alpha's fighting it out to the death. At one point Locklin got a hold of Sam and slammed him down onto the broken desk. Rosalie jumped on his back and dug her thumbs in his ears as hard as she could, stripping him of one of his senses. What he did to her....she did to him ten fold. He got off of Sam, and grabbed Rosalie by the back of her hair and threw her on top of him. He scampered back holding his ears, where Rosalie dug her fingers. Blood was pouring out.

"You fucking bitch!!" He yelled.

Rose quickly got off of Sam. He was whimpering. She quickly took a look at him and saw a peice of wood embedded in his side.

"I'm sorry." She said and proceeded to rip it out.

She heard Locklin move towards her and he landed a kick to her stomach, which threw her to the ground. He then picked up Sam from the nape of the neck and placed him in a choke hold. Rosalie quickly got up and jumped towards him shifting mid air. She got him by the neck, and in doing so Locklin dropped Sam who was already bleeding heavily. She whipped her body back and forth, taking a good chunk of flesh with her when she released him.

She mind transferred Locklin.

"You want to kill me? Your going to have to catch me first." She took off out of the study. As she was making her way down halls she mind transferred Mandy and told her to go help Sam and Jesse. She looked behind her and could see Locklin had shifted into his wolf.

The chase was on.

She didn't know how this was going to end. She just wanted to get him far away from her friends and Sam as much as possible. She took off from the back of the pack house, and to the snow covered field. She knew she had an advantage with her white coat. She deafened him, didn't blind him so he would still be able to track via scent and tracks. She used all her energy to move as fast as possible, and was able to distance herself, and proceeded to run several routes to keep him preoccupied. She remembered about the quarry and made sure to lead her tracks there. If she had any chance to rid Locklin, this was the place to do it. She reached the edge of the quarry where Mandy took her. She looked and saw a small clearing to her right and leaped to it. She bunkered down and burried her nose in the snow. She lay there, in camouflage waiting for Locklin to walk up to the edge.

She waited for him. She could hear a howl in the distance, then she heard movement. She calmed her breathing and lay perfectly still. She watched him with his nose to the ground sniffing out her scent. He closed in on her and followed her tracks to the edge of the quarry. It was now or never while he couldn't hear her.

She lept out of the snow and ran up behind him, jaw open and at the ready. He quickly whipped around, and met her with his two front paws. They fought and sunk teeth into eachother each chance they got. Locklin got a hold of her hind leg and tossed her body about 30 feet. She got up and took off.

Rosalie had to move fast. She would take off and whip past him taking a bite and would take off again. Locklin was trying to keep up with her but she was too damn fast and blended in so well with the snowfall. He had to wait till she got to him.

"You think you can use the snowfall to hide yourself.. hmm nice try you stupid bi-"

Just like that she threw her body into his side, resulting in him smashing into a boulder. She didn't stop. She went for his neck. This was it she thought. This is where she had to finish it. She got a hold of his neck and thrashed her body around for maximum damage. She saw the blood pouring out from where she bit him. He was laying perfectly still. Motionless in fact. She looked at him, and could hear his heartbeat fading. She got up to drag him over the edge, when he all of a sudden lunged at her and tore at her leg. Rosalie growled in pain and tried to stay up but her front leg was broken. He pushed her to the ground and slowly walked up to her.

"This is where it ends." He mind transferred to her.

She looked up to him and closed her eyes. She regretted so much, but the one thing she regretted the most was having to leave Sam.

"Sam!" His face popped in her head...............She wasn't ready.

She opened her eyes, as Locklin lifted his head to give her the final blow. She then pushed off the ground and caught underneath his jaw. Locklin scampered back with Rosalie just hanging from his neck. This time she wasn't letting go. He tried desperately to free himself of her grip. He tried ramming her into trees and throwing himself on her, to get her to let go, but she only clamped down harder.

He was getting closer to the edge. Rosalie gazed her eyes on the edge, ready to go over with him. He jumped up on his hind legs and came crashing down to get her to let go, and it worked. He looked at her laying there, but with his neck in her jaw. It was ripped clean off. He tried to stay up and walk towards her, but his gaze quickly turned away from her. Another wolf appeared and threw there body into his, making him fall over the edge. The wolf watched him go over and didn't take their eyes off of him till they no longer saw him above water. Rosalie was fading in and out, as the wolf approached her. She couldn't make who it was, but she knew the scent.

"Mandy." She thought as her world turned black.
