Against all better judgment I was on my way to his class. Very angry with the bastard. I strutted in, chin high, about twenty minutes late. He was sitting on the weight bench, scowl on his face. Eyeing me up and down. ‘You are late.’

I rolled my eyes.

‘Don’t you roll those eyes at me, Elmrose.’ He strutted closer and I stood my ground. He grabbed my chin. ‘What would it take, huh….’

‘Would what take?’ I snapped back.

’To get back to the old us. Or did I slap that out of you when I spanked that ass.’ He slammed me against his hard chest and I yelped.

I slapped his hand away and swiped for his legs. I had him on the floor in seconds. I was ready to sucker punch him but he had me, threw me on the floor, which had me seeing stripes and stars. My breath left me with an oomph. ‘Kai hasn’t spoken to me since!’ I yelled at him. While he had me pinned. And again he was so close to me I could feel everything. ‘That boy doesn’t deserve a single part of you.’ He spat at me. While keeping my arms pinned. ‘Stop it Ash…’ I was feeling the tears brim up. Trying to wiggle from underneath him but couldn’t. He grabbed my chin and made me look at him. ‘Don’t cry for that douche….’ He whispered, breath falling over my lips. My lips were quivering now. ‘I’m not… you are hurting me…’ I cried. He let go of everything and sprang to his feet, in shock. He flexed his hands. ‘sorry… I-.’ I scrambled upwards, couldn’t quit make it and fell down again. Tears fell down. It was all a mess. He was reaching for me but I pushed him back. Rubbing over my hurt elbow and wrists. ‘I’m human you know…’ I chocked between tears. ‘You sometimes forget that.’ My lower back was hurting too. He came over and tenderly placed his hands there. ‘Is it your back, sweetheart?’ I tried shoving him off. ‘It’s fine… I can hardly feel it anymore anyway.’ I pushed him back and started limping for the door.

Leaving him on the floor.
