There has been a great change at the joint camp these days.

After Blake's last expedition in the Rain Valley, we welcomed the news of a newfound ally.

Alpha Nador, the leader of the Rain Valley pack surrendered to Blake in an all-out duel and submitted themselves to his command.

While it was not a smooth process of acquiring allies, we managed to pull through and integrate their members into our alliance after ensuring that they all agreed that we would put all hostilities behind us. Just like the Frost Fang pack, the alliance will only last until we have eradicated Alpha Kain's forces. After that, we will release them to be independent.

This condition made the other members of the Rain Valley pack finally put their doubts behind them and fully face our goals head-on.

Another thing that made us shocked was the discovery of a hidden association of werewolf packs who were against Alpha Kain's regime. Because Alpha Nador had recently joined, he also gave us the information about them.

The Rain Valley pack was also one of the elusive and secluded packs existing. Like the Frost Fang pack, they usually do not show themselves outside. However, because of Alpha Kain's greed, they were forced to surrender and stain their hands with blood.

The fact that they were now forced to do evil things has disturbed Alpha Nador and the elders of the Rain Valley pack day and night.

As such, when a group of werewolves came to seek refuge in the Rain Valley forest, Alpha Nador agreed and allowed them to hide at the far end of the valley, the Foggy Cliffs. The refugees dwelt in the caves on these cliffs while living away from the Rain Valley Pack.

This is also so that they could avoid the detection of Alpha Kain's men should they visit the Rain Valley Pack.

Knock! Knock!

While I was deep in my thoughts, I heard a soft knock on the door.

"Come in," I said while I stood up getting prepared to go out.

“Teacher, Alpha Sabre asked if you are ready...” Esha peered her head on the door and asked politely.

After making sure that everything on my working table was already cleaned up, I turned and said, “Yes, I am..."

The two of us went on our way to the meeting place, there I saw Blake, Arthur, and the rest dressed in dark cloaks ready for a long journey.

Blake still wore his silver mask as he turned and asked us, “Everything ready?”

"Yes..." I answered.

“Then let's go!”

Upon his words, everyone surged from their position and disappeared towards the woods.

Since all of us were the elites among the elites of the current alliance, we arrived at the designated resting place faster. After a while, we continued threading to the dense woods with a route that was hard to detect and reach unless one really knew the terrain

Thanks to Alpha Sabre’s report from his spying on the Blood Hound territory, we were made aware that Alpha Kain was already pressed hard to find our traces because the news of the Rain Valley's collapse reached his ears so fast. This is a development we did not expect.

As such, we had no time to dilly-dally and decided to go in groups of the strongest to brave through the Foggy Cliffs and try to acquire some allies.

In the dark starry night, the faint glow of the moonlight guided us on the dangerous path we took. During the day, we relied on the forest canopy and the leafy shrubs to conceal our traces.

After days of traversing the far end of the Rain Valley, we stood on top of a cliff with eyes wide open.

“Is this... the end of the world?” Arthur could not help but mutter as what we saw indeed gave the same impression as his words.

Ahead of us, was nothing but dark fog, like a giant wall whose foundations are rooted at the foot of the mountain and its ceiling ends in the sky.

Beneath us was a seemingly endless void. If a large is kicked off the cliff, it would feel like it was eaten by the dark shadows of the abyss, the sound of the impact hitting the ground did not even reach our ears from above!

On top of that, we could no longer see any traces of a path where we could move forward downward or upward. The only visible path is on the way back!

“There's nothing here...” Confused, we looked at Alpha Nabor, our guide throughout the journey, and waited for his lead.

“Patience young ones! This very place is chosen to ward off people like Alpha Kain!” Alpha Nador walked at a certain edge of the cliff and breathed heavily.

"Huuufffffil” Inhaling a large amount of air, his body rooted on the solid ground and his eyes closed. He lifted his arm and turned to a side, a gesture that prepared him to release a strong punch. Whooooosht!!

As soon as he opened his eyes, he punched through the air, and before our eyes, the great wall of fog was punctured and a thin pathway showed up!
