Carlos suddenly had patience and replied to Edith: “Okay, I’ll wait” 

When Edith received the text message, she felt motivated 

Although she couldn’t earn 200 million dollars, there would always be other ways to enable her to negotiate 

Edith thought, “Damn Simon, just you wait!” 

The next day, Edith went to work as usual. She did not expect to receive a call from Robert in the evening, who asked her to go over to play Texas Hold’em poker.

She nodded with a dry smile, and her eyes involuntarily fell on the last man. He was obviously sitting at the same table, but he gave people a feeling that no one could get close to him and that it was dangerous to approach him.

Robert had introduced the other men, but what about this one? 

“He…” 

“He’s Carlos Lawson, the president of the Lawstom Group. You should have heard of him, right?” 

“He… he’s Carlos Lawson?” 

Edith’s eyes widened in shock. She covered her mouth and exclaimed in disbelief. 

Seeing that she was so surprised, Robert laughed, “Are you scared? The Lawson family is a top family in Caurtine Very few people can compare to them.” 

Edith felt like she was about to die. She thought, “I’m actually intimate with my husband’s uncle.”
