Those present could only watch as Eric took Edith away, not daring to intervene. 

Edith also had no way to stop it and was forcefully shoved into the back seat of the car. 

Unsure of his intentions, Edith trembled with fear. 

“Mr. Mr. Lawson, what do you want from me?” 

“I came here only for my uncle. Since he’s not around, I’ve lost my interest. So, what service do you offer to Carlos? Tell me about it.” 

Eric rested his hands on the backrest and stretched.

“I’m mainly responsible for makeup and designing his outfit…” 

Before Edith could finish her sentence, Eric interrupted her, raising his eyebrows and speaking in a cold tone. “Stop playing on words,” he said. “You know I’m referring to the kind of service that you provide in bed.”

Her body fell to the ground. Even though the carpet was soft, Edith could still feel the pain. 

Her ears buzzed. She couldn’t hear anything for a few seconds before her hearing returned. 

Her cheeks were burning with pain, and she could even feel them starting to swell. 

Edith gritted her teeth and did not cry this time. 

If she cried, the bad guy would be satisfied. 

She gritted till she tasted blood in her mouth. 

“I will never hurt Carlos.” 

“Impressive, impressive, you loyal girl!” he exclaimed. Eric leaned down and cruelly pinched Edith’s chin with his large palm, gazing at her beautiful face. 

He had to admit that Carlos had a good eye for beauty. Both Natalie and Edith White were undoubtedly gorgeous. 

Even Meggie, the one he wasn’t interested in, was also remarkably stunning. 

Eric couldn’t suppress his jealousy. 

Theoretically, Eric should have authority over the power of the Lawson family.

Carlos rushed back as fast as he could because he was eager to see Edith.

His eyes grew cold and distant as he watched the surveillance video. 

The employees remained unmoved as they watched his woman being taken away. 

“There’s no need for them to stay in the Caurtine. They’re just an eyesore.” 

Carlos said coldly and then immediately drove to Eric’s place. 

Eric commanded Edith to please him in the same way she had done with Carlos. 

Edith would rather die than follow his words because Eric really repulsed her. 

She disliked him a lot. His coldness was like a damp ivy that never saw the sun. 

Eric slapped her hard in the face again as she continued to resist. 

This slap made her dizzy. 

She was forcefully thrown onto the sofa, and the man began to aggressively rip off her clothes. 

“No… 

Eric’s eyes were filled with greed and desire when he heard Edith’s scream. But before he could act, a servant hurriedly entered the room and said, “Mr. Lawson, your uncle is here” 

Hearing this, Eric frowned. Wasn’t Carlos supposed to arrive an hour later?

Despite his inner curses, Eric forced a smile on his face. 

“I heard that my dear uncle had found a pretty companion. Curious, so I went to see her for myself. I was really amazed by her beauty! However, I also found something quite interesting – she confessed to me that she didn’t sleep with you. 

“I don’t understand. This woman stayed overnight in your home and had free access to your private living spaces. You were together for many nights, yet nothing came of it. Is it because she doesn’t know how to satisfy you, or is it because you, as the rumors suggest, are truly…” 

Eric didn’t finish his words, but what he meant was clear.
