Chapter 457 They All Deserved a Beating

After speaking, without asking if I wanted to stay, he directly dragged me to sit by the dining table.

I frowned, secretly pinching the back of his hand. He remained unmoved, looking at me with a smug expression, "Tabatha, you haven't been able to drink these past few days. If you get bored later, have some food or maybe play on your phone. I'll have a few drinks with Mr. Hinton, then we'll go home."

His words were somewhat ambiguous, causing Walter's face to darken slightly, his dark eyes seemingly looking at me.

I avoided his gaze, responding to Alexander with a nonchalant hum.

Old Li looked at the situation and laughed, "Mr. Borseth, how come I never heard you mention that you have a sister, and you're so good to her, could it be..."

"Old Li, come on, let's toast to Mr. Hinton." Alexander lifted his glass, his smile so irritating it made people want to punch him.

I had no interest in watching a bunch of businessmen who didn't talk about serious matters, but instead flattered each other while drinking. I simply lowered my head and pulled out my phone to play with out of boredom.

Alexander didn't know what got into him, he just kept drinking with Walter. Walter, too, seemed to have lost his mind, and surprisingly, he kept drinking with him endlessly.

Others naturally noticed the problem as well. At first, they made a few jokes, but later they all found excuses to leave early.

Even that beer-bellied Old Li had left.

Watching these two men both looking like they were going to drink themselves to death, I couldn't help but tug at Alexander's sleeve. He turned his head to look at me, his face flushed from the alcohol, as red as a monkey's butt, and asked me, "Wha...what's wrong?"

I glanced at the still indifferent Walter, wondering when his alcohol tolerance had become so good. He had drunk so much, yet his expression remained unchanged.

I withdrew my gaze and looked at Alexander, saying, "It's getting late, we should go back."

Alexander slightly furrowed his brows, clicked his tongue and said, "Don't rush, it's still early. Tonight, I have to have a good drink with Mr. Hinton."

After speaking, he raised his glass towards Walter again, “Mr. Hinton, come on, let's continue...drink!" As soon as he finished speaking, he fell flat on the table with a thud and didn't move. Clearly, there was a blackout....

Looking at this situation, I was speechless for a while.

Everyone in the box had left. Walter was sitting not far away, looking at me with an indifferent gaze. I pursed my lips, stood up to help Alexander leave, and said to Walter, "Mr. Hinton, it's getting late. He's drunk and can't continue drinking with you. We're going to leave first."

Walter didn't say a word, he just leaned back slightly, looking at me with a nonchalant and indifferent expression. His demeanor was quite infuriating.

Ignored him.

I reached out to support Alexander, but the man was completely out of it. A tall figure of over 1.8 meters, I simply couldn't budge him. I tried strenuously several times, but he remained unmoved, I couldn't even wake him up by shouting.

Walter was sitting across from me, a look of amusement on his face, quietly watching me. After a long while, he finally spoke leisurely, "Need any help?"

Isn't this obvious!

I pursed my lips, then nodded and said, "Could Mr. Hinton help me get him downstairs?"

He raised an eyebrow, didn't respond to my words, but instead called towards the door, "Roy."

No sooner had the words fallen than Roy came in, looking at him and saying, "Mr. Hinton, what's the matter?"

Walter raised an eyebrow at Alexander, who was leaning on the table, and said, "Take Mr. Borseth home safely for Ms. Conner."

Roy nodded, didn't say anything unnecessary, and directly helped Alexander out of the box.

I looked at Walter, sincerely expressing my gratitude. After all, he had helped me, it wouldn't be right to give him the cold shoulder. Seeing me about to leave, Walter spoke up, "Is Ms. Conner planning to leave just like that?"

I looked at him with a puzzled frown, "Does Mr. Hinton need anything else?"

He didn't rush to speak, his slender fingers just rested on the marble table, tapping intermittently, making people feel a bit uneasy.

Just when I thought he had nothing to say and was about to leave, he suddenly looked up at me, raised his eyebrows and said, "My people sent Mr. Borseth back, someone should send me back too."

Me??

The corner of my mouth twitched involuntarily as I looked at him, furrowing my brows, "Are you drunk?"

He looked at me, his dark eyes deep, "If you want me drunk, that's fine too."

This person!

Why would you need someone to escort you if you weren't drunk?

I pursed my lips and said, "I'll hail a cab for you."

"I don't ride in other people's cars!" she said, her tone both haughty and resolute.

I was momentarily speechless. This group of people had been drinking until almost dawn. After Roy dropped off Alexander, it was probably around one or two in the morning. I couldn't keep this up, but asking someone else to take him home was clearly not realistic.

Taking a breath, I spoke, "Then I'll take Mr. Hinton home."

He nodded, but showed no intention of moving. Seeing this, I frowned, looking at him in confusion, wondering, was the chair in this restaurant really that comfortable?

Their eyes met, for a long while, he slightly furrowed his brows, "Come help me."
