Poem 3 - Unanswered questions✔️

I often wonder what we became and why,

Sometimes I'd overthink and cry,

I've done my best, but sometimes it's just not enough.

It didn't matter how hard I tried,

what matters is that you lied.

Why didn't I stand up to you?

Why did I let you break my heart?

But I am careful now,

I prefer to be loose,

I don't remember you fulfilling your duties,

How could we even call it love?

I choose to abandon you and move on,

I cried at the thought of losing you,

choosing the darker path.

I couldn't take how you mistreat me,

I've never done anything to you, so why?

Why were you so selfish?

You were my priority, and I was your last option.

It wasn't easy, and I was sad,

thinking I've made you feel bad.

Then I realized you didn't even care,

The remorse in me faded,

I began feeling hatred.

I'm trying to forget while the hate in me is burning,

You didn't give me another option,

So this is how our story ends.
