“Haha, Teagan, Blanche must be incredibly unlucky to have someone like you as her uncle,” Gilbert couldn’t help but laugh. 

Teagan, underred, responded with a subservient smile, “Please don’t mock me, Mr. Cunningham. I am simply giving Blanche an opportunity to contribute to the Langford family. Not everyone who desires your favor gets the chance.” 

In the open–air training ground at Jipsdale Martial Arts Academy, Blanche was drenched in sweat as she underwent training. 

As a novice in martial arts, she had to start with the most fundamental training. Running was one of the basics that could help strengthen her physique and sharpen her will. 

Unfortunately, her instructor, Halvard, seemed to be intentionally targeting her.

Halvard showed no mercy, swinging his whip viciously whenever he noticed Blanche slowing down even slightly.
