"No wonder you managed to escape so many forces for so long."

"Sir, if I didn't have a way to defend myself from all my enemies, I would have died many times over by now," Ricky said with a laugh.

"Well, after witnessing the conclusion of the second round, I have to admit that your casting skills are far better than that of Kamari," the Casting Ladder said. "If he wasn't already an experienced casting master of Sage Level, he would have lost to you.”

"You are not going back on your word, are you?" Ricky asked doubtfully. “The Casting Ladder wouldn't want Kamari to lose because if it does, as the winner of the competition, I will be allowed to cultivate in the ancestral land of the Helian Clan, * he thought to himself with a frown.
