Alpha's love
The dream

"I..........Aria accept you, Marcus as my mate. I love you and nothing is going to change that. I've never EVER heard a male wolf, let alone an alpha say that he was willing to wait to mark his mate if that meant she was more comfortable. You've shown how much you love me and just now you only showed that further." She was blushing furiously as she spoke, her words barely a murmur as she could sense the pack listening. As her words ended, Marcus swooped down kissing her passionately as the pack broke out into hoots and hollers.

The rest of the night went by in a blur of congrats and celebrations, despite them not even having marked each other yet. Aria assumed that it was because they had seen how far her and Marcus had come and they were happy that their alpha's were now promised to one another. She also knew that both packs were happy because their alphas mate, and their alpha had come back to life, blessing him with the moon goddesses favor. Aria joked with the other pack members that it was if they had just gotten married, which created a flurry of commotion amongst the female pack members of both packs who immediately decided that their alpha's should marry before they marked, a celebration that the moon goddess would show favor upon seeing as how Aria was very special. Aria had blushed, something that she had been doing a lot that night, and walked away secretly hoping that the woman would follow through. She had always wanted a wedding, although with the moon goddesses warnings and the attacks recently the idea of any fun happening any time soon was not likely to happen.

Later that night, Aria and Marcus stood on the stairs close together as Marcus called the attention of both packs. Aria spoke first, her alpha side taking over and ignoring the electricity flaring between the two of them as she spoke. "There is something that Alpha Marcus, Beta Blake, Beta Eve, and myself decided would be urgent to share with the both of you. Marcus, she came to you you should tell them." She said the last sentence in a murmur and motioned for Marcus to step forward. He squeezed her hand before stepping forward and addressing the pack in the same way she did, a strong unwavering alpha tone.

" While I was dead, the moon goddess came to me and told me that a war is coming. She said a war that we have never seen is coming and that we must travel around the country and gather more wolves to aid us. She said that Aria will be our savior, our key to victory. She also said that the rogues who are attacking us are trying to take over the whole country, kill all other werewolves that stand in our way, and they must all be killed. A threat like that, none of them can be spared." Aria and Marcus thought that the room would erupt in chaos but it remained silent. Their pack members heads were held high and they remained stoic, telling Aria and Marcus that they were ready to die to defend not only their alpha's but their country as well. They would kill these rogues without mercy, and Aria held no doubt in her mind that she could lead them to do it.

The pack had dispersed after a few more minutes of questions and answers, Marcus and his pack had to go back to his property, much to Aria's dismay. Marcus had told her with a dismayed tone that he had to protect his pack territory as well and Aria understood this better than most. They shared a deep kiss before he left, taking his warmth with him. Aria let out a sigh of disappointment before making her way up to her bed, pulling her shirt to her nose to breath in Marcus's scent. She was suddenly so exhausted from the recent events, and that day that she fell asleep quickly, despite wanting Marcus to be next to her.

Her dream felt so realistic that Aria worried she was actually there. She was standing at the edge of a cliff, her legs dangling off the edge. Normally, she might be scared, considering that she was scared of heights but here she felt calm, a sense of peace rushing over her. A woman sat beside her, which she realized with a start. The woman was wearing a strapless dress with a silver crown weaved of metal that held several silver lilly's. Her hair held several different shades of silver that tumbled down her back in waves and her silver eyes pierced Aria's as she turned to her with a warm smile.

"My child. I hoped you would find me tonight. I am very happy to hear that you plan to join with Marcus fully, we have all had a brilliant time watching the drama between you two unfold. Of course, we all knew what the outcome would be but it was still nice to see it happen." Aria gave the woman a gracious smile, feeling as if she'd known the woman for her whole life.

"I am so thankful to you for bringing Marcus back to me, of course I understand that your kindness cannot be without a price." Aria bowed her head out of respect for her queen awaiting her response. She felt a hand under her chin as she raised Aria's head, her eyes piercing Aria's.

"My child, your debt will be repaid when you claim your victory over those pitiful excuses of wolfs. None of them can be allowed to live Aria, they sealed their fates the day they turned their back on me and attacked their own kind. I will not weep their losses, they will not feel my pain or pity they will only feel my wrath." Aria shuddered as a sudden darkness intruded the air, portraying the moon goddesses feelings of the rogues. "Never mind that though my child, you have questions for me, ask them." Her voice was gentle once again as she spoke softly, her hand resting on Aria's in a simple motherly gesture, reminding her of the loss of her own family.

"Why am I your chosen one? How am I a part of you? How did I find you? Do I have special powers or something? Is that why you made me the first female alpha?" The moon goddess smiled at her before launching into her answers.

"You are chosen because I saw that you showed promise and good character, however I could only hope that your destiny led you to being my chosen one I could not make you my chosen one, only you could do that. You are a part of me because When you were born I blessed you with my touch, visited you during your growth in your mother's womb, shared myself with you. You found me because we are connected and wished to see me to answer your questions. You do have special powers, though that is something that you must discover on your own. Your mate will help you, not directly but he will direct you to someone who can help you. I did not make you the first female alpha, you made yourself the first with your power. Marcus is a part of you Aria, you cannot follow your destiny without him. I have given you a second chance do not waste it, follow your heart not your head because that is the only way you will defeat the army coming to destroy you."

The moon goddess leaned forward and placed a fleeting kiss on Aria's forehead before standing and walking away into the night, before Aria could fully process what was happening. The information that she had been told was filling her head, and even in her dream she could feel a powerful headache coming on. She stood from the edge of the cliff and a feeling of dread filled her as she had a sudden realization that she knew what she must do to get out of the dream. She cursed in her head as she realized that the moon goddess was testing her limits, pushing her to be stronger. One sigh and Aria closed her eyes before stepping off the cliff, letting the air envelop her. Strangely, she didn't fall, she floated. The realization that she was floating broke whatever concentration she had from not wanting to fall and she began to plummet again. Panic filled her as the ground became increasingly closer and she heard the moon goddesses voice warning her to catch herself again. Aria forced herself to close her eyes and relax, spreading her body spread eagle letting the wind flow around her and she felt herself slowing down. She let out a breath of relief as she slowed to a stop, hovering a few dozen feet above the ground. A giddy feeling filled her and she found herself laughing as the thrill of floating filled her.

She continued to let herself fall and stop, jerking a few feet at a time until she reached the solid ground. When her feet touched the ground her vision went black and she found herself in her bed once again. Thats when it hit her. She had actually been there, she had almost fallen off a cliff and died.
