“Alpha, what are we going to do about this now? We lost the man who was replacing you until now” Yes… shit! I cursed under my breath staring outside of the window. Think… think Lucias think! I said to myself but nothing came to my mind. I am still angry. I am so f**king angry with what happened. 

How am I going to find another man for this now? If the man I trusted was able to betray me, how can I bring myself to trust another man for this. With a deep sigh. I turned to Derek who was looking at me with complicated eyes. I know that he’s also confused with all the things that happen and all the things I do. I need to see an end to everything but I want to do it without making Isabella suspicious about anything. 

“How was he with Isabella?” I asked Derek. Derek sighed and rubbed his forehead for a moment. Why? Was there anything that I didn’t know or was there anything he didn’t tell me about Isabella and Carsal? I waited for Derek to answer me and he took some time for it.

So I used a man and casted a spell on him using a witch to make him look like me. Then I made him stay with Isabella. But I f**king warned him about things and he had ignored all my warnings. Now he’s f**king dead. If I get a chance to again, I will do it more painfully. That bastard didn’t have to lay a finger on Emilina. He didn’t have to go to her. He betrayed me and his whole family will pay for his deed. 

“Find another man. Take him to Sera and then send him to Isabella” I sighed. 

I have no choice but to do this. If I want to spend my time with Emilina and Luan I have to do this but I know that I won’t be able to continue this for so long. Before that happens, I need to do something about all these things. I have to fix everything back to normal. Even if I have to kill thousands of people for it. I would

Most importantly, I can’t abandon Emilina after she carried my son and raised him. well. She had so many reasons to hate me and abort the baby but still, she had loved him and raised him without letting him have any pain. So I need to pay my gratitude back to her by marrying her again and naming her as my Luna, as well as I need to name Luan as the next alpha. 

“What if she gets pregnant? I tried to stop Carsal but he didn’t listen to me.” If Isabella gets pregnant that will definitely cause a problem and I should have an option for it. I remained silent for a moment and thought about it. I need to have a way to prove that the child isn’t mine. Yeah… I can do it as long as I hire a man but the thing is if she got pregnant because of Carsal, her child’s father is already dead. 

“We will still find a man for this and we will pay him a good amount. Find someone suitable for this today. And let him know what happened to the first guy who dared to betray me” Derek sighed and nodded at me. I need to find someone for this as soon as possible. Fooling Isabella is easy but fooling her father is a bit hard. But who cares? I will plan something for that too.

I looked out of the room as I heard Emilina’s voice. She was standing at the door with a cup of coffee for me. Damn… drinking the coffee she makes is a different kind of happiness. Her eyes remained on me for a second and then fell on Derek. She stared at him for some time before coming into the room and putting my mug on the desk. 

“Derek, do you want me to get you a coffee? I didn’t realize that you were here.” She smiled. Look how beautiful she is when she smiles. I feel relieved to see her smiles like this. I know I haven’t fully gotten rid of all the problems we have but seeing her like this made me feel so good. I lived my life like a dead man for years. after she left me. I suffered every single second because of what I did. 

“Thank you Luna but I have to go now. I will come to drink a coffee later. I’m in urgent task.” Derek said as he bowed his head to both of us and left the room. Emilina stared at Derek until he disappeared from the room. After a while, she sighed and turned to me. 

“What kind of urgent task did you give him this time?” I didn’t expect her to ask something like that. S 

he always asks me questions that I am unable to answer. I just casually shrugged my shoulders and took the mug sipping the coffee. Delicious… I continued sipping

it without answering her. Emilina stared at me for a while and slapped the desk. gainig my attention to her. Is she angry? She had the right to be angry because she always doesn’t get the answer she wants from me. Even I would be angry if someone did this to me. 

“Why aren’t you telling me anything?” She folded her arms against her chest. Her eyes were sharp and cold as she looked at me. I’m not telling anything because I don’t want to abuse her mind. My mind and my whole f**king soul is abused already because of the every single problem I have and I don’t want the same to happen to her. However, I am doing everything that I can to keep her and Luan out of this mess. I know she’s already part of this but let me just forget it and keep them out of this. 

“It’s about a business between Alphas. You won’t understand. By the way, where’s. Luan? Sleeping? Got tired of playing?” Emilina hummed but the doubt and suspicion in her eyes remained the same. She knows me well and it’s hard to hide. things from her when she looks at me like this. 

“Yes, Luan fell asleep while playing.” she answered, turning to leave. “Lina, are your mad at me?” I couldn’t help but ask. She stopped walking and faced me. She said nothing but looked into my eyes for a little longer. I don’t know what she was thinking and wanted to tell me. Maybe, blame me for hiding things from her while she was asking me to share all my burdens with her and she would help me with the way she can? 

“Did you lie to me?” Her question had my heart clenched. I pressed my l*ps together tightly. I’ve lied to her. I’ve lied to her so many times and even a few moments ago I did the same. Should I just keep all the things aside and tell her the truth? Tell her everything that happened and happening? I know that’s what she also wants me to do. 

“I’m not mad… just asked..” she sighed and finally said as she turned to leave again. f**k it! I don’t want to make her upset. I’ve made her upset enough and now this is enough of everything.

And yesterday something happened and he had come here to find you. Derek just told me that he had used Isabella for S** which I forbade him from doing but he still did it and then he came here to act like me and use you.” I stopped without uttering more. Emilina’s expression stunned and she watched me as if she had seen a ghost. Soon, her eyes moistened and she pushed me away taking a few steps back from me. 

“You did what? You… you mean you used a man to replace you with her?” Why does she look so surprised? Of course I did and I don’t regret it at all. I could spend all the time here with her and Luan because I did that thing. She can’t blame me. 

“I did.” I accepted. 

Emilina bit her lower l*p and then shook her head. See… this is why I never wanted to tell her the truth. She looked away from me while continuing to bite her l*ps.

So don’t speak up for her because just because you both are women, she never did for you. She enjoyed the humiliation you went through. She enjoyed it when she got to know that I rejected
