Lucias 

“I don’t want to be with you! Just go away from me! Let me leave!” 

I stared at Emilina. Why do I see a strange woman in her eyes now? She wasn’t like this before. She never raised her voice at me or said thos 

painful words. Is this really her or have I mistaken someone else? All she wants is to leave. To go to her son! Why did she even give birth to a child who’s not mine? How could she make up her mind to sleep with someone else? Is this the real result of what I did? Yes, this is the result of my sins. 

“I don’t want you to leave me. I want you to be with me, Lina. I am not going away from you” she can vent her anger on me as much as she wants but I’m not going to let her walk away from me again. I looked for her everywhere. I spent countless nights without sleep while looking for her and finally I decided to give up. When I was about to give up, she appeared in front of me and now I can’t even think about losing her. I know she still loves me but why does she keep pushing me away? Maybe I approached her in the wrong way. I just forced her to be with me. 

But if I didn’t force her, how the hell am I going to be with her? She is someone else‘ wife already. It was so f**king hard for me to belive but I have to belive it since she was the one who said it. Even they have a child together. As my eyes lingered on her gorgeous face, she looked away from me. I know my words have affected her so deeply. She’s trying to leave me because of her child… not because she doesn’t like me or love me. 

“Alright… you want your child. Okay, I will bring the child here.” Her expression changed. I witnessed the way her face turned pale and her l*ps parted as if she just heard something scary. Why? She wants her child and so I will let her keep the boy. Keeping her here without letting her see her child would only make her hate me 

more. 

But why does she look surprised and scared? Shouldn’t she be happy? She should be happy to hear this from me. Emilina bit her lower l*p and averted her eyes from me. Her hands are clutching the hem of my shirt that she was wearing nervously. 

“No… no need. You let me go. That’s enough! I don’t want my child to see you” there was a hint of discomfort in my chest when she said that. Why is she acting like this? I said nothing but watched the way she bit her l*ps while her eyes looked at me with a terrified yet unknown look. What is she hiding? She was like this before whenever she did something wrong and tried to hide it from me. 

Not only that, she looked exactly like this whenever she was caught walking alone at midnight. She had really bad habits. But what made her look like this now? She has no reason. 

“Your child should see me! Since I’m going to become his step–dad. He should. used to me” I raised my eyebrows at her. Her l*ps parted to a silent scream. She thought about it for a while before shaking her head furiously.

“Why? No… I don’t want you to become his step–dad. And I will not take him here to see you either. You speak nonsense” she rolled her eyes at me as she lowered her head. What is she even trying to hide from me? Does she think I don’t know her? 

‘Ask her what the fuck she’s hiding! I can feel her nervousness and fear. She’s reckless after we talked about the child!‘ my wolf must have felt something. 

He wasn’t someone who easily talked this angrily towards his mate but now I can sense that he was angry. Did she lie to me about the child? Did she do it because she wanted to go back? But no…. she almost hugged that creature yesterday saying it was her son. She has a son and I can confirm it with the way she struggles to leave here. 

“Emilina… look at me.” I approached her. 

However, she didn’t raise her head to look at me. She was still staring at her feet. I stood in front of her, waiting for her to look at me but she didn’t do it. What is she playing this time? I hope she won’t do something that makes me angry. Ignoring her refusal to look at me, I pinned her chin making her look up at me. I used a bit of strength to hold her face. She should know that she shouldn’t mess with me. Her eyes are beautiful but held the look of a bunny who hides from a predator. And I am that f**king predator. 

“What are you hiding from me?” 

Her b*dy startled. She didn’t keep her eyes on mine. She swiftly looked away as she turned her face from me. She’s a strong woman and I know she can hide so many emotions and secrets in her heart. All these actions from her telling me that she’s keeping something from me. I again forced her to look at me. There’s a thin layer of tears in her eyes but she looked afraid. I gripped her waist tightly slamming her b*dy against mine. 

“Why are you so silent now? Your mouth has had so much power since yesterday, why are you weak now?” She pushed my hand from her face and tried to move away but I didn’t let her. I held her even tighter as I pushed her against the wall caging her from my b*dy. She will never be able to push me away and I know it. 

Her tiny figure is always weak when it comes to me. 

“You are crazy, Lucias!” She mumbled. Of course I am crazy. 

“Indeed. I am f**king crazy but if I didn’t get any satisfying answer from you, I would be crazier. I lowered my head and bit her earlobe. I need to know what’s going on in her mind. She’s acting aggressive and rude in front of me and suddenly all that aggressiveness flew away when I said I would bring her child here for her. She wants the child and only the child! So I can give her what she wants in order to keep her with me but why… Why does he look so scared? I k*ssed her face, moving my hands on her smooth thighs. 

Unexpectedly, Emilina sn*ked her hands around my n*eck pulling me to a k*ss. First I was shocked. This is the very first time she k*ssed me after I took her here. It was the one who always acted first. I kept my eyes open as she k*ssed me passionately. Her eyes were closed and didn’t show any emotion. Soon, she moved her hands to my pants making me realize what the fuck she’s trying to do with

Does she think she can f**king fool me? I pulled myself from her. When I pushed her aside, she looked at me with wide eyes. Look at me with those eyes but I’m not gonna fall for your tricks. I’ve loved her for years… I was with her… I know every little detail about her and I know how she reacts. The more she behaves in this way the more I will want to know about this. 

“Even if you let me fuck you right now, I will not do it! I need the answer for what I asked!” Her eyes turned empty. She shook her head and walked to me. I knew she was going to utter a lie but I won’t let her do it. 

“Lucias… this is crazy… What do you want to know? About my baby?” She asked me. Of course! I want to know about her f**king baby. I didn’t want to know about that child until now but her whole mood changed when I said I will bring the child here. 

“How old is your child?” Once again my question stunned her. She closed her eyes. and took a deep breath. Probably calming herself down. 

“I got pregnant by Jerral shortly after meeting him.” Her words made me laugh. I didn’t ask her about her getting pregnant from that bastard! I asked her about the age of her f**king child. Why is she making me both angry and nervous? Just tell me the age of the child and I will ignore it. 

“Emilina, you are making my blood boil. Even my wolf is angry right now. He feels that you are hiding something from us.” I growled. 

Her eyes covered with tears and she immediately buried her face against her palms. Did I scare her? No… she had seen me scarier than I am right now. Her shoulders trembled. She’s crying. Why is she crying? I asked her a simple question and she should give me the answer for it. Instead of answering me, she’s f**king. crying. 

‘Lucias, sniff her. Check her.. My wolf is somewhat stormy. ‘Why?‘ I questioned him because I couldn’t understand his intention.

His sudden mess made my heartbeat go wild. I don’t know but I felt weird. Weird about what I am doing right now. When I almost reached her abdomen I could feel only one scent. That scent made my blood become cold and my b*dy go numb. Failing to accept it, I used much of my strength as her mate to feel the scents on her. No matter how I tried, I could only feel one scent… and it was mine. As her mate, I have the ability to find it if she had ever slept with someone else by doing this but all I could feel was me. My f**king scent on her. 

“What a cunning woman that the moon goddess paired us with! The child is ours, Lucias! She was untouched after we touched her years ago. My wolf chuckled as he completely made my brain turn upside down with his words.
