“it is time for the final contest your highness," miss Donna informed me and I smiled brightly, happy that it would be the las time anyone would have to see me struggling to become a noble consort. I stood up from the front of my dressing mirror an grabbed Miss Donna's hand.

“let's go now,” I told her and we headed towards the door but we were suddenly stopped by the entering of Angelica. She entered unannounced as if she owned the place. When she saw me, she smiled. It was the same smile that I had fallen for and gave me the fake friendship between us.

“Lorena,” she muttered.

“Angelica,” I replied her folding my arms together. “what a pleasant surprise!” I forced a smile on my face and I struggled to “look natural as if I didn't hate her presence. if she thought that calling my name like that would change how I was feeling at that moment then she was wrong. I was burning with anger at that moment and a little talk from her could spark a huge reaction from me.

“humans!” she laughed.

“when they see an opportunity to become great, they throw themselves at it. I thought you said that this position isn't what you want but at the end of it all,” she pointed towards me. “you are still here struggling for a spot to become known,” she tutted. “you were even greedy enough to end Danielle's life.”

“future Luna!” miss donna shouted and got slapped across the face.

“stay out of this, you peasant!” she warned and beckoned to her servants who stood behind her to grab Miss Donna, but I quickly, at most, came in between and pulled Miss Donna back.

“you might be the future Luna queen or whatever rank you are aiming for. The king had warned you to stay away from me by still, you always find a way to put the trouble into your life," I pulled miss donna behind me. “you have assaulted my servant which is a bad offense knowing that you were recently freed from your prison,” I chuckled and moved closer to her. “listen tc me, Angelica, you might be the future Luna queen but I am going to be the noble consort and I bet you will be watching me as I take that throne away from you!” I yelled at her.

“That is impossible!” she yelled back at me. “A noble consort is only a substitute for the royal Luna queen. You might have succeeded in killing Danielle but I will see it to the end.” There she goes again talking about the dead girl and using her as a excuse. I hated the fact that she was accusing me and the worst of it all is that she was not remorse about what she had done. “keep thinking that I can never be noble consort and watch the contest until the end” I pushed my way past her and walked away.

“you are much worse than me. for you, getting the position of the noble consort isn't enough!” she shouted but I didn't bother turning back to face her as I continued walking away. “pathetic human!” she yelled and that made me stop.

“Please, kindly ignore her, your highness. We have a contest to go for. She could be doing all of this to get you angry and waste time,” Miss Donna advised me and I nodded in response.

“I should give you a taste of your medicine angelica but right now, I have a more pressing issue to attend to," I told her and started walking away ignoring her screams. “just like you have said, she could be wasting my time to make me miss the contest. Thank you miss Donna’ I patted her back as we walked out of the mansion and saw a black limousine parked in front of the mansion waiting for us. When I saw Romeo, I was surprised because the both of us had never been on good terms. He stood beside the door and pointed towards me as we headed towards him.

“where have you been lady Lorena?” he said through gritted teeth as if he didn't want to be there. “the time for the contest i far spent and I have been waiting here for hours now,” he complained.

It was my mistake and just as I was about to apologize to him, he entered the passenger's seat at the front and shut the doo in my face. “I am sorry,” I muttered even though I was burning on the inside. I entered into the back seat with Miss donna an, the car started soon, we were on our way to the arena where the horse riding was going to take place.

“Don't take whatever the future Luna queen says to heart. She Is just jealous that you are set to take her place and also because the humans could have a great chance of getting free” Miss donna said and rubbed my hand.

I nodded in response and placed my other hand on his. “I know so," I heaved a deep sigh. “I just feel so sorry for Danielle who had to die a cruel death. Even though I hated her guts, I still can't believe that she is dead.”

“This is reality, child. You should face it and forget about other things. You need to win to be recognized as the woman who saved the humans from the werewolves.” Miss Donna said it with so much joy that it made my head swell. Although I don't have plans of killing Fenrir anymore, I was still going to fulfill my promise of freeing the humans from the werewolves.

“I want to be that woman,” I said to miss donna. I was going to do whatever it takes to become the royal noble consort and fulfill my promises to the humans. “I am going to free the humans from the werewolves and write a new history,” I declared.
