Fenrir POV.

The day of the noble consort competition finally arrived and I was restless as I was hoping to see Lorena and see how she was doing. While seated on my throne in the arena of the werewolves, I waited for the arrival of Lorena. My wolf was on the edge because after what happened to Lorena and I, he had refused to speak to me and the only one that kept bothering me was Draca. The arena was one of the biggest places in the werewolf world as it was built shortly after the defeat of the humans. It was a big space and could accommodate thousands of werewolves and humans. A lot of werewolves were presen atthe arena and a lot of them were noble werewolves who were called to be a part of the event.

“will you stop thinking about her!” Draca shouted at me as the thought of Lorena still lingers in my mind. *I get that you can keep your emotions in check so kindly refrain from filling all your thoughts about the human. I starting to piss me off!” he yelled at me.

That was it. I blocked him from replying to me. Even though I knew that he was going to return in a few minutes, blocking hir out of my head was the only option that I could think of to keep him away and to stop him from annoying me. the blocking c our inner conversation would take a few hours and when that was over, I really hoped that the event was over.

“your highness, the rest of the lords and Alistair is here," Romeo who was seated at my right-hand side announced and pointed toward them. I nodded in response and frowned when I saw Alistair. The conversation we had about Lorena suddenly appeared in my mind and I couldn't stop thinking about it.

“Iam going to take her away from you,” his words resounded in my head and I found myself clenching my fists as I watched him approach me.

“your highness" he greeted me and sat down on one of the chairs met for the lords of the werewolves on my left-hand side, He smiled brightly at me and when I turned to face him, I glared at him instead. “will you keep that face throughout today?” he teasingly asked and tutted. “come on your highness,” he chuckled.

“shut up Alistair," I cut him off and he started laughing. I knew he was probably making fun of me after what had happened in the office with him.

How dare he? If I had the chance, then I'll punch him on the face until his nose broke. I hope when I did that, he would still be able to speak.

“oh,” Alistair clapped his hands and pointed forward to the entrance of the arena. My eyes followed his fingers and my heart teapt for joy when I saw Lorena walking side by angelica. The rest of the concubines followed behind trying so hard to move by angelica's side. The werewolves in the arena especially the males all screamed their heart out while lustfully staring at the concubines. They were al dressed in a tight fitted outfits and amongst them, the only one that drew my attention was Lorena who was busy adjusting her outfit as she was uncomfortable. Staring at her for a few seconds was enough to give me a boner and it stirred a reaction from my werewolf who growled and muttered a sultry word in my head.

“she looks so hot that I feel like leaving my chair and f*****g her,” he said and I was dumfounded because my werewolf barely talked dirty about Lorena. It was always Draca who was the s*x maniac. If my wolf could react like that just by seeing her, I wondered how Draca was going to react around her.

“The concubines are really pretty,” one of the lords commented and soon the rest of the five lords joined in the conversatior and started laughing amongst themselves. When one of them pointed at Lorena, I almost saw red and frowned at him but he wasn't looking so he couldn't see me.

“That one seems like a great F**k," lord Han who was known to be a s* maniac and a terrible woman pointed towards Lorena, if she is not picked then she can become one of my slaves,"he laughed and I glared at him hoping that I could ripped his heart opened. I cleared my throat hoping that I could gain his attention and he could stop talking about Lorena sexually but Alistair beat me to it.

“take your eyes off her because she is mine!” Alistair said possessively and that was enough to shut lord Han's mouth. Wher Alistair was done scolding him, he faced me. * I hope she doesn't so I could make her my own."

I knew Alistair was doing. He was trying to get a reaction from me so I could reveal Lorena's true identity or I could give up o her.

“its about to start,” Romeo announced knowing fully well that we were about to go against each other and doing that would raise questions about who Lorena was. “the announcer is making the announcement!” he clapped his hands and the rest of the lords soon joined him.

“why is the future Luna queen join the concubines to play this game?” one of the lords asked lord Jared. “is she going to be noble consort too?”

Lord Jared shrugged his shoulder because he was unaware of his daughter's choice to participate in the competition in orde to get along with the rest of the concubines. ” is there a reason why my daughter?” he curiously asked. I ignored him becaus I was busy staring at Lorena whose eyes were directed on mine.

Romeo must have seen me staring as he answered the question.

“The future Luna offered to join herself and it was her choice.

I blocked the rest of their conversations from my ears as I had my eyes fixed on Lorena as if we were the only ones in the arena. We continued to stare at one another until Lorena was touched by angelica and she averted her eyes from mine. “welcome to the noble consort competition,” jeff, the royal announced spoke into a megaphone. * the alpha king had decided to come up with letting his concubines fight the throne of the noble consort and only one of them would be opportune to rule alongside the king and queen!” he announced.

I wished Lorena would win so I could actually have something to talk about to Alistair. When jeff started calling the names o the concubines, my wolf growled in my head urging me to continue looking at our mate and I did. Lorena must win and I was going to make sure that happens even if I must cheat. The position belonged to her in the first place and the only reason why I had changed everything was to make her see that going against me had consequences that could either ruined or make her.

“the first game is the test of intelligence,” jeff announced.

“The king had decided a hunting game for the concubines,” he shouted and everyone clapped their hands and the arena soon turned to a cheering ground. “The hunting game is to find the hidden jewel hidden deep in the forest. You will encounter a lot of dangers and whosoever returns with the jewels hidden deep in the forest wins this round.
