Fenrir POV

“no s*x with her again?” Draca whine and started growling in my head. His reasons were valid as he only wanted to have Lorena for s*x only and it could have better if Lorena wasn't going to die. I didn't want to be the reason for Lorena’s death. you care about the human then confess to me but you know what you need to do in order for you to live an immortal life.” Maybe Draca was right and I had started to grow feelings for the human. If someone had told me that I would heard Lorena’ pleading when she begged me not to f**k her a*s then I would have called such person a fool. I never thought that I would let her go.

“I am not growing any feelings for her,” I bluntly stated even though my heart and my wolf monster was saying something else.

Draca laughed at me and then he continued growling. “will you stop that?” I shouted at him hoping that he will stop but he continued growling. I heaved a sigh and sat on my chair rubbing my forehead while wondering what I was doing. My wolf monster remained silent and didn't say anything. He was probably fuming with anger over the fact that I had almost hurt his mate. “I shouldn't trust the humans,” I muttered under my breath. When I remembered everything that they did to me then I couldn't stop thinking about it and the thought of it was hard to swallow. I had trusted a human and at the end of it all, I wa betrayed and the humans took the upper hands and almost the werewolves. If I had not fought back then the world would have been in disarray and the humans would probably be in charge of everything. I could have ended the lives of the humans by getting rid of all of them but I couldn't because at the end of it all, we will need the humans and if I had gotten rid of them in the past the I wouldn't meet my mate.

While contemplating on what to do and listening to Draca's ranting in my head, the door leading to my office burst opened and Alistair walked in unannounced.

“what do you do to her?” that was the first question he asked as he walked into my office. Without anyone telling me, I knew that he was talking about Lorena.

“and what gave you the audacity to walk into my office and question me like that?" I asked him.

“Fenrir” he shouted my name and I folded my arms waiting for what he had to say. He stared at me for a few seconds. without saying anything and it soon turned to a staring competition. “why do you hate the girl like that?” he asked and I shrugged my shoulder.

“don't give me that crap!” he shouted at me. only him could do that without getting his tongue cut off. “why would you treat her like that?”

“treat her like what?” I asked him and tapped my fingers on the desk. “why are you mad about a girl you don't know!” I furrowed my brows.

“because I have bonded with her with the few hours that I spent with her” he confessed and I slammed my hand on the desk.

“shut up!” I yelled at him. “she is mine!” I said possessively gripping my hand on the handle of my chair. “she is mine and nc one else”

Alistair scoffed and moved closer to the table. He placed his hand on the desk. “she is your slave but she could be mine if win her over,” he said with sly smirk on his face. “she could mine if I want her to be,” he chuckled.

I growled at him and stood up from my chair. “you shall not touch not even a strand on her head and that is a warning to yo saying that you should back off!”

Alistair laughed and yanked his hands from mine. “why do you care about your salves Fenrir?” he asked. “this is unlike you! “Give me the chance to kill him off!” Draca shouted and cussed in my head knowing fully well that Alistair wouldn't hear hin “I could feed on him and..."

“shut up!” I shouted out loud and even Alistair were taken aback by my actions. “I am the alpha king and whatever I says stands so you can change anything about it even if you wanted to!”

Alistair nodded in response and folded his arms. "I never knew that you'll care this much about a human!” he laughed. “wha is she to you?”

I frowned at his questions and laid back on my chair. “whatever is going is none of your business and you don't need to know anything about it. Just stay for the festival and once it's over, you can leave!” I shouted at him and closed my eyes. “just give me the chance to wipe that smirk off his face,” Draca scoffed. “stupid werewolf is getting on my nerves.”

“the same way you are getting on mine,” I muttered through gritted teeth. “I hate listening you so kindly leave my head,” I shouted at him.

“having an inner conversation with that crazy demon?” Alistair asked. Aside Romeo and my gamma, Alistair also know about the demon and that's only because we've been friends for centuries. “tell that sx maniac that I say hello,” he said and winked at me.

“has he gone crazy!” Draca shouted. “just give me the chance to stab him on the face and feed on his energy!” he shouted and the words came out of my mouth instead. He forced me to reveal the himself to Alistair as if he was warning Alistair to back off.

“nice to see that the demon is still crazy but I am standing on my word Fenrir,” he said. “if you are...”he put his hands inside his pocket. “if you are going to treat that human like that then get ready for me to take her away from you,” he threatened. “you wouldn't dare!” I shouted at him. I cleared my throat and gently rubbed it as I was too tired of screaming.

Alistair scoffed and headed towards the entrance of my office. “seeing you react like this only confirms that Lorena could be your mate or maybe she is someone you need...”

“shut up!” I stood up and in the blink of an eye, I held him by the throat. “don't you say things you don't know about," I warned him and he started laughing.

Alistair yanked my hand from his throat. “I knew it,” he chuckled and headed out of my office. “Fenrir,” I heard him whisper my name.

I ruffled my hair and wondered why my emotions were getting all worked up. I wasn't for anyone to know about Lorena yet and at the same time, I didn’t want to make her a sacrifice in order to break the bond with Draca.

What do I do? I thought.

“follow my advice and lets of your emotions,” Draca advised. I heaved a sigh thinking about what he had said.
