Megan furrowed her brows when that particular thought crossed her mind. She tapped on Monica's shoulders and knew she might be confused. It might be another challenge the future renowned photographer had to counter.

Thus, Megan asserted, “I think if you submit the entire album to take part in a competition for rookies, you're going to top the chart without a doubt. I'll give you my consent to use the album. Why don’t you submit it to the fashion magazine's editors? I think they're going to appreciate your work as well.”

Monica would sooner or later figure out her actual talent. Thus, Megan decided to do her a favor to win her over.

On the other hand, Monica was taken aback by Megan's words. She was confused by the reason the stranger had gone to great lengths for her sake. Megan responded with a bright grin, behaving as though she was conscious of Monica's concerns.

“I'm just trying to do you a favor to stop you from doubting yourself. You look like a close acquaintance of mine, so it's not much of a big deal at all.”

Megan's gentle remark worked like a charm and warded off the things bothering Monica all along. In spite of the slight change in her expression, the indifferent woman was touched for once. “Thanks, Megan. You're such a humble celebrity.”

Staring at the young woman on the stairs, Megan responded to her remark with a sincere smile. Monica seemed to have opened up to her because Megan no longer felt as distant.

It turned out Monica was the type of person who wouldn't be vulnerable in front of others unless the other party took the initiative to engage with her.

Megan shook her head and grasped Monica's hand, asserting in a gentle tone, “You're most welcome. I need to go because I still have another agenda on my schedule. Once you're done editing the photos, we'll proceed with the contract with a predetermined rate of ten thousand for a session. If the outcome turns out better than my expectation, I'll give you a bonus without imposing any limit."

The generous offer was like a dream come true for every rookie photographer. Most importantly, it was a boost to their confidence.

Overwhelmed by emotions, Monica's eyes flickered

She nodded vigorously and grasped her camera with all her might. A few seconds later, she assured with a bright grin, “Alright, I'll get it done as soon as possible.”

Megan was thrilled after she bade farewell to Monica.

As Monica disappeared amidst the street with a bustling crowd, Megan secretly prayed Monica would keep the favor she had done her in mind and continue offering her service into the foreseeable future.

When they hailed a cab back to Donna's place, Donna broke the silence and blurted out everything she had been keeping to herself the moment they walked into the foyer.

Megan, who was on the couch, took a peek at Donna and announced with a proud look, “You know what? This is the best investment I have made over the years! Speaking of which, how did you find her?”

Donna was utterly stupefied because of Megan's seemingly baseless remark. She scratched her head in confusion and replied, “She happened to be wandering around with a digital camera. When I approached her, she thought it was a scam. Fortunately, you showed up in the nick of time and persuaded her to join us.”

Megan was equally confused because it seemed too much to be a coincidence, but none of their encounters were arranged beforehand. Perhaps, fate had brought them together.

Seconds after she snapped out of confusion, Megan wrapped her arms around Donna and expressed her gratitude. “Thank you so much for approaching her! You have just done me a huge favor!”

The confused Donna arched her brows, but she had no intention to poke her nose into Megan's plan because Megan was always up to something odd.

Suddenly, Megan's heart skipped a beat when she received a call. Upon a simple glance, she noticed it was a call from Rocky.

Thus, she regained her composure and picked up the call.
