He dumped a woman who truly loved him, only to dote on another who just wanted to toy with his feelings.

Caspian, you're such a fool! “Joan, what are you thinking about?”

Jessica asked with a nudge.

"It's that idiot! Whenever I think about him, I feel myself burning with rage!”

Upon hearing that, Jessica merely let out a faint smile.

Joan immediately covered her mouth, embarrassed at her outburst.

Afraid that Jessica might feel sad from being reminded of Caspian again, Joan quickly changed the subject.

"So, Jessica, what do you think about this house? Do you like it?"
