Chapter-14 August 25th

Faithlynn's POV:

The child kept on crying for what felt like an eternity but suddenly she get off her mother's lap and rushed to the main gate everyone panicked and rushed out after her.

We all stopped and watched as Venessa run towards Reagan, she is finally back, I cant help the smile on my face, I'm so happy that she is finally back, those two days were felt like two years, when Reagan saw Vanessa she put her suitcase and laptop bag on the ground and catched Venessa in time as she jumped on her, she threw Venessa in the air and catch her again while Venessa giggle uncontrollably.

She hold Venessa, hugging her for a few seconds then carry her in her left hand and picked her bags with her right. And walked towards us sharing smiles with her little niece.

"Hello everyone". She said before entering into the house carrying Venessa with her.

When we all went inside, we saw that Venessa has started crying again, Reagan asked her what's wrong.

We all went and took our seats on the couch. "So how was your trip" Edward asked.

"Very tiring, I had to work day and night because I had to come back in two days." She said releasing a sigh.

Everyone get back to their own conversation when we heard venessa sniffle.

Regan looked at Nadia asking her what's wrong with her niece. Nadia shrugged.

Reagan release a sigh and pulled the little girl to look at her "why are you crying bunny?". Aww she is so cute, how come I never see her interact with a child before.

Venessa just shook her head and hid her face in the crook of Reagans neck, throwing her little arms aroun Regan's neck.

"So would you like to have some chocolates I brought for you from Germany?". Regan asked the child.

Venessa's eyes lit up and she nodded eagerly. "Well I'll give you your chocolates only on one condition". Reagan said showing her one finger.

Venessa didn't say anything, only looked at Reagan expectantly. "So, the condition is, you tell me why you were crying and I'll give you the chocolates." She smiled at the child.

Venessa looked at me frowning then back to Reagan "Mommy said you love her" she said pointing at me. I saw Reagan blushed profusely, and looked at me with a look that I never saw before.

Venessa sniffed that gain Regan's attention "and?" Reagan asked knowing their is more to it.

"You said no one would take my place in your heart but you love her now." Venessa said ,tears flowing out of her eyes.

Reagan try to stifle her laugh but eventually she chuckled, Venessa looked at her frowning and crossed her arms on her chest.

"Aw my little bunny, you don't have to worry about your place in my heart" Reagan said wiping Venessa's tear stained cheeks.

"But you love her". Venessa countered. Oh god this kid, she is so cute.

"But you both can have a place in my heart, right Faith." Regan said looking at me and I can't explain how happy I felt that she finally acknowledge me and talked to me.

"Y-yeah ofcouse, just like you have a place for your parents in your heart, we both have a place in Reagan's heart." I told her with a smile. She seems to take the answer. Her face lit up and she jumped on me hugging me. While Regan laughed at my shocked face.

Reagan get up and went to her suitcase taking out 3 boxes of chocolates she gave one to Venessa and another to April "excuse me everyone I'll just go take a shower" she said and headed to our room carrying the last chocolate box with her.

How rude, she didn't brought me anything?. She knows I love chocolate and still she didn't brought me any. And she is kinda ignoring me, I thought we were good when she left.

Amelia kept glancing at me, what is she planning now?

I got up and walked into our room. I can hear the shower running, and then I saw some foreign snacks along with the chocolate box on the bed.

I left the room to make some coffee for her.

After 10 minutes when coffee was done I poured it into a mug and went upstairs. When I was about to enter the room, a hand grabbed my arm and Amelia pinned me to the wall spilling a little bit of hot coffee on my hand.

"What the hell Amelia?" I asked furiously, shaking my hand.

"What's happening?" Reagan asked popping her head out of the room, when she looked at my hand she came out of the room pushed Amelia and took my hurting hand in her blowing on it.

"Get the hell out of here before I throw this coffee on your face." Reagan threatened Amelia, who just frowned and left.

Reagan took me inside the bathroom and put my hand under cold running water.

Then she took me into the room and sat me down on the bottom of the bed.

"Does it hurt." She asked kneeling down infront of me, applying ointment.

"Yeah, a little" I said wincing.

"I'm sorry." She said out of nowhere.

"Sorry for what?" I asked confused, she chuckled shaking her head.

"For intrupting you earlier, you know the hallway." She said looking hurt.

"Oh, no, no it wasn't like that." I said quickly, she chuckled again. "Yeah i know".

"No you don't know anything." I said annoyed.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yes, you know nothing, you must have just assumed everything till now." I said getting agitated, she stand up,towering over me.

"Right, right, I just assumed everything. But you know what I didn't assumed?" She said looking at me for an answer.

"You kissing Amelia, and you know thats the only thing I asked you not to do, but no, why would you do anything I would ask, right? Right, but you know what hurt the most? The fact that EVERYONE,like everyone knew about you and Amelia except ME your fucking BEST FRIEND, dammit." She spat angrily, I can see tears forming in her eyes, I couldn't say anything, she is right I hurt her the most, I feel like I betrayed her. But how could I told her about me being with a girl, I was so afraid of telling her.

"Rea, please." I try to touch her arm but she pulled it away.

"No, no, just tell me one thing." She asked with almost red eyes. I nod

"Why didn't you just marry Amelia hmm? Why are you marrying me, does she not have the right papers or is she also an illegal immigrant?" She asked, how can I tell her that we have nothing going on, that was just one kiss.

"I don't want to yell, but you are testing my patience. Why. Faith. Why?" She asked trying to contain herself. I dont know what to tell her.

"I-I I don't know." I stuttered. She groaned and punch the door making me jump, I scrambled on the bed and went to the next corner sitting against the headboard, legs pulled towards my chest,now I'm afraid.

I start crying, I have never seen her this angry before ,her face looked all red her eyes too, her hands rolled into a fist, heavy brething. I just wanted to run out of this room. " I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, please I'm sorry." I cried scared to what might happen.

She turned around, whiped her face with her hands, inhale and then exhale sharply. She come towards me, I was shaking from all the crying I was literally sobbing. She cautiously sit beside me on the bed, against the head board.

"Shhsh I'm sorry I won't do that again." She said wrapping her armd around me engulfing me into a hug and I cried on her chest. She just try to calm me down rubbing my back.

"Want to lay down for a while?" She asked sweetly wiping my tears giving me a small smile. I nod

We lied there for a while, my head on her chest her hand arond my waist, I can hear her calm heartbeat. I looked up at her beautiful pretty face she seems so peaceful while asleep, her eyebrows were still frowning.

I can't believe out of all the people, I had to hurt her. She was so kind, cheery and helpful to me and what I did? Cheat her, lied to her and what not. But still she's here holding me in her arms safely and securely.

I never thought that I would be marrying, but now, just the idea of being her wife made me feel giddy. I think I might be falling for her. I never saw her like that before but now all I can think of was her. Being with her. Thats all I want now.

She make me so happy even if we just had an argument I'm still here, she is still here.

" Would you please stop?" She said startling me.

"Your hand, stop doing that." She grumbled, oh man her raspy voice.

I might have unconsciously drawing circles on her stomach. When I didn't stop she pulled her hand from under her head and hold my hand which was drawing circles. And went back to sleep, I intertwined our hands and also dozed off, finally able to sleep with her, with her arms around me, with her calming scent.
