Chapter 4.1

Finally after little bit more of dancing, Kieran led me off the dance floor and strolled me towards the corner of the room putting my back against the wall and facing me. We were hidden well by the shadows and curtains of the windows.

“Asema that’s strike one” he said then leaned back little bit. Enough that I could see his full-face outline “Your questioning is giving me a headache” He slithered the words, he opened his mouth a little bit to show his teeth.

I was about to narrow my eyes in confusion till. Slowly white fangs appeared and he curled his tongue around one fang up to his lips, like he was ready to devour.

I looked at his fangs with wide eyes for a long time, too scared to move. When he wanted me to stop talking, or he would for some reason feed on me. I didn’t want that so I knew quickly as possible that I needed to shut up right away.

“Okay I will listen…” I whispered.

He slowly closed his mouth and smiled like nothing ever happened. He looked back at the bustling dance room and hummed.

“I think that we had enough of the party” Kieran announced to me and led us away from the party to entrance doors.

I couldn’t let it happened, I started panicking what could I do to distract him?

I looked around and saw the band playing the music as well people dancing and chatting. They had not stopped.

Think Asema, I thought to myself as we were almost at the doors. A thought came to me, I knew I was going to regret this. I swung myself in front of him grabbed his face and slammed my lips on his. With this surprise he sort of struggled back but slowly embraced me by wrapping his hands around my waist and up my bare back. I broke away knowing I needed to keep my control.

“You know we shouldn’t leave, we could dance more or better yet lead a group dance” I suggested with my heart pounding as it echoed throughout my ears.

He looked at me in curiosity and tilted his head little bit. “Hmmm from that kiss it’s almost too tempting to take you to bed right now.” He murmured.

I bit my lip and my stomach dropped, did I just make it worse than it already was?

“But I guess we can lead a group dance for a bit then chat with a few more people” He continued gestured his arms and I took it. I blew a quiet sigh of relief, that took away about two hours. Though it gave me a shiver just thinking about that.

I walked with Kieran to the front of the room and everyone faced him.

“Ladies and gentlemen, my lady Asema has requested we all dance together for one night just to enjoy more of this evening” Kieran raised his voice and smiled.

With that I heard people murmur in excitement and quickly everyone got into formation leaving a giant empty space in the middle of the dance floor. I looked around as everyone was getting ready with their partners which made me little frightened to see how long this would actually last.

Kieran led me to the middle of the room where all the space was. Kieran swung me in front him getting ready in the dance position. The music began, slowly people danced and in a circle around, after one rotation I felt the heat of people. The paced got slower and the music started a different song. Kieran started to dance with me following him. Just like that we watched the people dance as a group no one hitting each other or step on feet. We were a smooth bond of people just flowing around like machine working in different areas in order to make the big one work.

I didn’t know how long we danced but after a while people started pulling back leaving Kieran and I in the middle of the dance floor.

“Asema now that no one is close to hear, I would like to tell you something” Kieran spoke with a little different accent, quietly as if some people could still hear him.

“What is that” I asked a little uneasy to where this was heading.

“If you ever pull a stunt to distract me again, I will punish you and it will not be gentle” he spoke as if he given me mercy before.

My stomach dropped, was I that obvious? It couldn’t be or was he just playing with me to see how I would react?

“What…do… you mean?” I was hesitant to asked him.

He tilted his head at me in curiosity. “Oh, you know that little kiss you smacked on me earlier, I knew you wouldn’t have done it unless trying to distract me” Kieran said smirk.

My jaw clenched; guess he was smart to know that I would never pull a stunt like that.

“Then why did you go along with it?” I asked curiously.

He shrugged. “Guess it was entertaining to think you had me fooled” He replied spinning me around slamming into his chest.

Feeling dread I guess this whole action plan of getting Kieran distracted was a failed plan after all and there was no point to continue on with it.

I sighed looked up at him. Again, I could not believe I was saying this.

“If I give in too you even though it’s hard because I don’t like you, will you stop being hurtful?” I was hoping for a good answer.

Now I know this question did actually throw him off. He seemed utterly shocked that I said that and he stopped for a second in the dancing then realized then he needed to move his feet. He didn’t say anything, he was just in shock then he began to smile curiously.

“So, you will give in?” He asked me like it was too good to be true and disregarding my other statement.

I nodded my head slightly, I couldn’t believe I was agreeing to this.

Kieran pulled me in close and brought his lips to my ear. “You will give in when I get started in the hallway.”

I stuttered at those words, even hearing them made my stomach clench “then afterwards we enter your room, you will fight me Asema…” his next set of words were lingering “if you haven’t already learned I like when you fight back it gives more of challenge” My heart dropped down to my stomach, the fear then rose up.

That explain so much on why he got more pleasure when I tried stopping him. It aroused him more. That made sense now. The thought made me sick to my stomach just thinking about it. All I could do was agree now.

“Okay” was all I said.

After the dancing was done and Kieran was done with the chatting with everyone, he led me out of the ballroom and into the hallways that was towards our rooms. All I could think about was how scared I was and how insane this was going to be. My heart began pounder every step we took my it became louder than ever, I could practically feel it in my throat.

Kieran and I reached the stairs to our rooms and I took them up on slight trembling legs. Every step I took felt like I dragging cement up on my feet. This moment was getting closer and I was becoming scared.

I felt my body begin to shake. We reached the top and I felt like my legs were jelly, I had to force myself to stand which was hard considering my energy felt like it was leaving me sooner.

(Possibly triggering.)

With a surprise Kieran took a right towards his room and slammed me against the wall taking the breath out of me. I would have fallen to the ground if Kieran had not place his hands on my waist and lifted me up with my hands at his chest placed firmly.

He looked at and smirked. I was too afraid for what was going to happen next.

“Know what you don’t have to give in, I think I like it better when you fight,” his eyes filled with dark red.

He slammed his lips against mine and he was not smooth he was more rough than usual. I could feel how hard of pressure he forcing on me. With so much pressure he forced my mouth open letting his tongue in choking it down my throat. I almost gagged at the touch but I kept myself grounded I would not give him the benefit of the doubt. Even though I wanted to badly force him off of me.

His right hand let go of my waist pressing his body against me to keep me in place. His hand traced up my legs lifting me to his waist and placing it firmly there. His body pressing up against mine on the wall and my left leg pressed up by his thigh now.

This was the worst nightmare ever.

Finally, he broke away from my lips leaving me falling forwards gasping more air. Moving his lips to my cheek down to my neck and I could feel his lips down my neck with his irritated warm breath against my skin. Though I heard footsteps I looked to the stairs to where we were place at the edge and saw and heard one of the maids gasps.

Kieran head shot up towards the maid and stared at her furiously then roared at her with silky voice.

“Out!!”

The maid shrieked and fled down the stairs.

Kieran faced me and his red eyes were dark filled with lust. He let go of me allowing myself to almost fall to the ground. But he caught my body and lifted me up into his arms and opened the door to his room. I’ve never been in here before for some reason I was not allowed, this felt weird.

His room was five times bigger than mine. Windows had long black drapery on them and the bed black in the center of the bedroom. Itself was a four-poster bed like mine but the bed was much bigger.

Kieran headed to the bed and place me on it. This time I felt little bit more energy come to me, so I rolled away to the other side to get away but he was too fast. Already beating to me to the other side. He smiled like he was enjoying it.

“Fighting?”

He jumped on me landing down hard again knocking the breath out of me, and started kissing my lips hard. I felt like jelly, I wanted him off me but I just did not have the strength. I just screamed.

I barely even noticed that he had ripped my dressed and thrown it off me. No wonder I felt so much cooler and I felt hot skin.

Bringing his lips once my ear and whispered. “Time for the fun to begin.” Sending cool shivers down my spine, the one thing I was afraid of most was happening now.

The touch of someone who made you feel like nothing as if everything in your body you had to numb as it was the only way to process things. His touch was like fire and ice and It was burning, yet drowning.
