There was a loud bang.

Mila closed the door and strode after Avery.

Phoebe hurried to catch up and said, "Mila, what are you planning to do?"

Mila gritted her teeth as she muttered, "She caused my son to be born prematurely and kept in an incubator.

"She caused you to be injured. She also caused my family to fall apart and my family members to be missing. What else do you think I would want from her?" Phoebe responded, "But there's no solid evidence."

They followed Avery into the beauty salon.

Phoebe nodded, excited. She instantly felt a rush of adrenaline, so she took a few steps back and kicked the door with force.

Avery was frightened. Her face turned pale as she screamed in terror. She stood up abruptly and instinctively pulled up her pants. She stared at Phoebe in panic. "You" Before she could say anything, Phoebe grabbed her hair and forcefully pressed her face into the toilet bowl.

Avery knelt on the ground with her hands gripping the edge of the toilet bowl. Her entire head was in the filthy toilet as she struggled desperately.

She couldn't even utter a word amidst the gurgling and choking sounds.

Phoebe forcefully pressed her head down. Finally, she used the toilet lid to press down on her before leaving the stall.

She clapped her hands as she felt relieved. She looked at Mila with satisfaction and asked, "Mila, should I continue?"

Mila replied indifferently, "Let's go."

Phoebe followed Mila out.

In the bathroom, Avery's nauseating vomiting sounds continued. Each sound was louder and more painful than the last. It eventually turned into frantic and angry screams that echoed through the salon. On the way back, Phoebe stole glances at Mila's reaction several times.

She noticed Mila controlling the surveillance cameras of the salon on her tablet.

Mila was calmly deleting all the surveillance footage of their entry into the building.

She seemed calm, composed, and unaffected. Her demeanor made Phoebe suspect that she wasn't the same gentle and kind Mila she used to be.
