Chapter 94 Making a Big Move 

“We don’t know what happened, Mr. Luther…” The organizer of the event, who was initially full of confidence, was now as pale as a ghost. His voice was trembling. “I know nothing about what happened to Ms. Glen, Mr. Luther.” 

Everyone knew what kind of relationship Liam had with Gwyneth. The two were in a contract marriage, and they were now divorced. None of them thought that something bad would happen to Gwyneth at the auction, and none expected Liam to be so concerned about it. 

“Look into it and find out what happened.” Liam’s face had turned dark at that moment, and his words sounded like they were coming from the gaps in his teeth.

As soon as the man said that, two other people suddenly became interested in the conversation. 

Most people in underground organizations feared the Leed family’s power. They would be slightly reserved even when something piqued their interest. However, the fact that these men suggested doing anything toward Gwyneth was enough to show that they did not see Kingsley as someone important. 

“Although the dude is the young master of the Leed family, he’s still just a bastard, boss.” 

“Yeah, boss. We just want a little more for our pay. It’ll be fine even when things come to light.” 

“The two of them are right, boss. The Leed family won’t care about this little extra payment their illegitimate child cost them.” 

The men took turns persuading themselves, and their tone gradually became excited as they looked at each other. In the end, there was a flicker of light in their leader’s eyes. They were so busy discussing that they forgot to check on Gwyneth..

she had been kidnapped and was near the sea.

sound of the police car siren way earlier than the kidnappers did. 

As the sound lingered. Kingsley immediately panicked and hurriedly grabbed his phone to send a text. The context of the text was simple: [ The police are here. Act quickly and finish the job as planned.] 

Coincidentally, the kidnappers had just finished talking about extortion when they received Kingsley’s message. A few of them smiled at each other with a hint of excitement behind their eyes.
