Ivan handed in his pockets and pursed his lips. With cold eyes, he quickly walked into the office.

“Let me explain! It's not what it looked like!" Catherine quickly followed. “I'm not sure how this happened!"

As Finnley passed by the stairwell, he heard the sound of children laughing and giggling from inside the door.

He stopped and pressed his ear to the door.

"Good job. She deserved it. How dare she speak ill of Mommy!"

"She looked like a clown today, and she was too foolish to marry Dad. It's so funny!"

"Alfie, you're great!"
