"Why would Dad write such a will? He left them with his most valuable, and what did he leave me and my mom? I don't care about money, but I won accept his either!" Bianca threw the paper onto the ground. "Me and my mom are supposed to be the beneficiaries.”

"I'm sorry, but this is what Mr. Faye intended," Robert said, before turning to Dorothy. "Mrs. Faye, I believe that you've signed a prenup when you married Mr. Faye stating that you have no right to his money upon his death.”

"What?" Bianca gaped at Dorothy.

Dorothy lowered her gaze gloomily. "Yes! But what about Bianca? Why isn't Bianca the first beneficiary? The money in his bank isn't even one third of what his funds are worth. Does he take us for beggars? Mr. Shahl, something is wrong!"

"I was shocked as well and asked Mr. Faye if he was sure, but he insisted.”

Anne had remained quiet the entire time, but decided to speak up, "I think that something is wrong as well."

Dorothy shot her an enraged look. "Is that so? What exactly did you do to Nigel to get him to write up a will like this?"

"You are the one who should reflect upon what you've done to drive him to taking such an action,” Sarah said sarcastically, “I'm surprised that you would accept signing a prenup. It's no wonder that you refuse to divorce him no matter what!"

"Why you-"

Anne interrupted Dorothy mercilessly. “I said something is wrong, but not the way you think... Why did Dad get into a car accident shortly after he drew up his will? Isn't it too much of a coincidence? Did he sense that something was going to happen and decided to draw the will ahead of time? Did you look into the person who caused the accident? Was anything wrong with Dad's car?"

In order to cover her guilt, Doroth roared, "You are getting out of line! You can't possibly be thinking that we killed him!"

"I don't mean to say that.” Anne did not suspect Dorothy for that, but was still skeptical.

"I've looked into the truck driver. The accident was caused because he was exhausted. I checked Mr. Faye's car as well. There's no issue with it,” Anthony said.

Anne lowered her gaze with a frown, wondering if she had overthought. However, could there be such a coincidence? Her father was young and healthy, so it did not make sense for him to write his will.

"Mr. Shahl, how was my Dad mentally when he wrote the will? Did he look odd to you in those days?" Anne asked.

Robert thought back to it. "He was indeed in a terrible mood, but I didn't pay much mind to it since he had his ups and downs before as well.”

"Why else would he be down? He was trying whatever he could to divorce me so that he could be with Sarah!"

"Why would he divorce you out of the blue?" Anne questioned sharply.

"You are asking me?" Amused, Dorothy pointed at Sarah angrily. "You should ask her! Ask her what spell she put Nigel under!"

"My mom didn't contact Dad at all recently,” Anne said confidently.

"How would you know? Do you keep your eyes on her twenty-four seven? You can't believe every word she says! You two plotted together to coax him into writing this will. This is a crime!" Dorothy said hysterically.

Anne scowled, knowing that she could not possibly reason with someone like that.

"If you don't believe us, you can go ahead and look into it," Sarah said

"How? I'm sure you've already burnt all evidence!" Dorothy sneered.

Bianca suppressed her anger and turned to Anthony with a sorrowful expression. "I believe that my dad was coaxed into this. He got into a car accident three days after that, and it looks more like a murder than an accident. Usually, the people who benefit most are the most suspicious! Anthony, you have to help me!"
