Chapter 1061

Corentin lifted his slacks and squatted down in front of Ashlynn. His ruthless eyes gaze onto hers. “Didn't I tell you that I would never forgive you again if you repeated the same mistake? I said it before. Why are you doing it again?”

Ashlynn was so shocked that her whole body was shaking. She sat on the cement floor, pale. “I also asked you to release me, but you never did so... Yes, I framed you, Salvatore Yeager, my only wish for this life was to stay away from you, monster!”

The air was so silent that it was deafening.

Owen really wanted to stab her to death right here and then. “If not for Mr. Lloyd, would you even go to college? He treated you so well, what did you do? You cannot be so heartless and ungrateful!” “If 1 could travel back in time, I would not have saved you when I saw you dying in the alley. I would not want your money, I would not marry you, I would rather die than get to know you... Ah!" Before Ashlynn could finish her words, her hair was pulled by Corentin again.

He said through gritted teeth, “Are you done? Huh?"

“Mmmm!” Ashlynn suppressed the pain on her scalp and the fear of getting her scalp ripped off. She was so pissed that she lost her senses and was completely detesting the man before her. She ran into him with all her might.

Corentin was half squatting, and he did not expect Ashlynn to get up and fight back.

His back slammed into the car behind him.

"Salvatore, go to hell! You trash!” Ashlynn slapped Corentin’s face.

Owen saw it and was about to kick Ashlynn away.

However, before he could reach her, Ashlynn was slapped by Corentin.

"Ah!" He was strong. Ashlynn fell onto the ground, and her head was buzzing. Not to mention her face was, of course, swollen.

Corentin stood up, his face scarily twitching. He walked to Ashlynn while his clothes were a mess. He looked like a beast in the middle of a tantrum and edged toward his prey.

Suddenly, it rained. It first started with droplets sprinkling on Ashlynn’s body, but eventually turned out to be heavier and heavier.

Owen went back to his car to get the umbrella. He placed it over Corentin’s head and said, “Mr. Lloyd, it is raining now, it is a good time to bury her, and no one would notice.”

Ashlynn lay on the floor quietly. She did not have any energy to fight back, as though she was waiting for death to grace her.

The raindrops fell onto her body and her face. When they fell on her eyes, her lashes trembled and then fell off the corner of her eyes, forming a little stream on her face.

Such a dark, rainy night. It was so easy to make Ashlynn disappear.

Owen finished his sentence and then looked at Corentin, standing frozen in the same spot.

What was he hesitating for?

“Mr. Lloyd, you can go back first. We will take care of things here...” Owen was not done.

Corentin stepped forward, then picked Ashlynn up from the ground and tossed her

into the car.

“Mr. Lloyd!” Owen pursued and did not forget to open his umbrella. He persuaded, “ Mr. Lloyd, we cannot forgive her! What she did today was the same as what she did five years ago, except that we discovered it ahead of time. Mr. Lloyd, this is as though keeping a sharp knife next to your pillow, you are playing with fire!”

“Sharp knife?” Corentin looked at Ashlynn, who was trembling from top to toe. “You are wrong. It is a blunt one.”

“Mr. Lloyd...” Owen wanted to stop him.

“Let's go.” Corentin entered the car and slammed the car door shut.
