Chapter 525 Forcing Him to Submit

Faye smiled in the face of Colin's question and answered it calmly.

"Yes."

Colin landed forward, landed a kiss on Faye's lips, and said, "Honey, this feels so great."

When Faye arrived at the hospital, it was already noon.

She called Violet first and asked if she had had lunch. When learning that Violet hadn't eaten lunch yet, Faye went to a restaurant opposite the hospital and packed up some vegetables and meat for her. Carrying the packed food, Faye walked to the inpatient department. When she walked to the door of Violet's door, she her a conversation from the inside.

"Ms. Rowan, I believe in a saying very much. Those who suit their actions to the time are wise. Let this matter be a past if you take my advice."

"Impossible."

"You look gentle on the surface, but why are you so stubborn inside? You're not a local person and don't have any backer in Cocanel. How can you fight against her?"

"I won't fight against her. But we must make clear the rights and wrongs."

"If you have to insist on this, I can do nothing. I can only tell you that situation in Cocanel is sophisticated. Be careful that you may lose your life."

Faye directly pushed open the door and walked into the ward without even knocking on the door when she heard the conversation.

Violet and the woman standing before the hospital bed were all dumbfounded and simultaneously looked toward the door.

Finding that it was Faye, Violet smiled gently and greeted her calmly, "Faye."

Faye smiled back at her, walked to the bedside table, put down the food, and asked, "Is your injury serious?"

Violet answered, "Not that serious."

Faye replied, "That's good."

Faye unpacked the food while talking to Violet. She then turned around and put down the dining table of the hospital bed for Violet and then place the food on it. Violet thanked her, "Thank you."

Faye only smiled and didn't say anything.

The woman who sat on the other side of Violet's bed had been looking Faye up and down ever since she stepped into the ward.

She thought Faye looked familiar, but she couldn't remember in which place she had seen her for the time being.

After a while, the woman asked Faye, "Miss, have we met before?"

Faye looked up, glanced at her indifferently, and replied, "Nope."

Faye was very certain when she answered the question, which choked the woman and made her look embarrassed.

Under such a circumstance, most people would reply "probably no". That woman had expected that Faye would show no respect to her and give her such a distant and indifferent answer.

The woman looked at Faye awkwardly and then turned around and coughed to clear her throat. Then she turned around and talked to Violet, "Ms. Rowan, Phoebe said that if you keep silent on this matter, she will give you twenty thousand and compensate you for the medical expenses.

Violet raised her head, looked into that woman's eyes, and said, "Ms. Lennox, I've made it clear. I will probe into this matter."

The woman said, "Ms. Rowan, if you refuse to take my advice, there's no need for me to say anything else."

As she said those words, she stood up to smoothen her clothes. Then she pressed her lips and continued, "Ms. Rowan, our school is too small to hire such an arrogant person like you. You may look for another job when you recover."

The woman intended to leave after finishing those words.

Just as she had turned around, Faye said in a cold voice, "Violet was injured during working time, right?"

The woman stopped in her track when she heard Faye's words and turned around to look at her.

Faye looked into her eyes coldly and continued, "If my memory is right, I remember that the laws stipulate that employers can not dismiss employees with occupational injury for no reason. If an employer does so, it will be deemed as an illegal determination of labor contract and the employer needs to pay the compensation double."

The woman was shocked and looked into Faye's eyes dully.

Faye continued in a cold voice, "When do you plan to pay the compensation? Now? Or would you like to let your financial staff wire it to her later?"

The woman asked, "Which law stipulates that the employer needs to pay the compensation double under such a circumstance?"

Faye replied, "Article 87 of the Labor Contract Law."

The woman was lost for words.

As a crisis PR, Faye unavoidably needed to deal with the stars' disputes with the company. Therefore, she had some common knowledge about some basic laws.

But apparently, though this woman was a legal person, she didn't have any common knowledge about this.

Seeing that Faye was well-founded, the woman was lost for words as if she was choked by a fish bone.

Faye spoke again when founding the woman was silent, "If your oral dismissal is effective and don't wire the compensation on time, we will apply for a labor arbitration in the shortest time." The woman was completely dumbfounded when she heard Faye's words.

One minute later, she said through gritted teeth, "We'll wire the compensation and wage to your wage card."

The woman angrily said those words and then fixed her eyes on Violet, hoping that she would submit.

Much to her surprise, Violet only replied indifferently, "Ms. Lennox, I hope I can receive the compensation on time. You may leave now, and please pardon me for not being able to send you off."
