Chapter 463 All's Fair in War

Chapter 463 All's Fair in War

Hank stopped talking to Nylah and drove at a steady speed while holding the steering wheel.

In the villa in Alogow District.

Andy failed to get back the money he had saved to get married in the end.

He showed a sullen face while Lance stood beside him slackly, patted his chest, and assured, "Andy, don't worry. I will return the money to you." Andy asked, "When?"

Lance said, "When you get married"

Hearing this, Andy glared at him, pursing his thin lips.

Lance smiled frivolously, "I swear I will pay the money back."

When Lance and Andy were bickering, Colin and Faye came out of the living room.

Seeing them, Lance put away his smile and said, "Hank took Nylah away."

Faye nodded, "I see. Take Emmett back to Fennth Community later. Colin and I have something else to do."

Lance said with a serious look, "Don't you need Andy and me to protect you?"

Faye smiled, "No. You will rest for a while."

Lance nodded, "Okay."

Getting out of the villa, Colin called Abbot while driving the car.

When the call was answered, Abbot chuckled, "Hi, Colin."

Hearing this, Colin raised his eyebrows slightly and laughed in a deep voice, "You sound in a good mood."

Abbot didn't deny it but asked tacitly, "Are you coming over?"

Colin replied, "Yes. I need the address."

Abbot responded with a smile, "OK, I'll send it to you."

Not long after Abbot hung up the phone, he shared his location with Colin on Instagram.

After Colin clicked on it to have a look, he smiled, "It's quite close to us."

Faye tilted her head and asked, "Abbot found Maxwell?"

Colin chuckled, "Judging from his tone, besides finding him, he has done something more."

Faye reminded, "We haven't gotten the detailed information about Brandon, so we must be careful."

Colin said, "Don't worry. Abbot knows how far to go and when to stop when doing such things.'

Half an hour later, Colin and Faye arrived at the place designated by Abbot.

Abbot was so daring that he had taken Maxwell to a small wood in the suburbs.

In this season, the trees were bare, and even the fallen leaves had turned into mud, so there was no cover around. As long as anyone passed by, he or she would see them. Maxwell had been beaten badly by the bodyguards, and now he was sitting against a tree to adjust his breathing.

Abbot squatted in front of him while smoking a cigarette and laughed wantonly, "Maxwell, you're quite strong. You've been beaten for so long, but you're not disabled yet." There was blood on the corner of Maxwell's mouth, so he wiped it with the back of his hand. Then, he smiled, "Mr. Carter, you pulled your punches."

Abbot replied, "I must pull my punches. I can't hurt you too badly for the sake of Collin."

Hearing this, Maxwell smiled sarcastically.

Abbot liked gaining the upper hand when bickering. He bit the cigarette in his mouth, stood up, and teased, "I'm a little curious. Is Brandon your biological father?" Maxwell raised his eyes and sneered, "What do you think?"

Abbot replied, "I'm not your mother! How can I know?"

Hearing his words, Maxwell instantly showed a sullen face.

Seeing this, Abbot became more interested. When he was about to say something provocative, he heard a vehicle approach and stop.

When he turned his head back, he saw Collin, so he immediately stepped up to the car.

Colin pushed the door open, got out of the car, looked over Abbot's shoulders to Maxwell, and said with a half-smile, "Is he disabled?"

Abbot took the cigarette out of his mouth, threw it to the ground, stepped on it, and said, "No! I wanted to disable him but changed my mind on second thought. I don't want to cause trouble for you. He seems to have been beaten violently, but those are all small injuries."

Colin smiled, "I see."

Abbot lowered his voice and asked solemnly, "Are you going to fall out with Brandon?"

Colin shook his head, "No, I want to be his ally."

Abbot raised his eyebrows in confusion and said, "What?"

Colin tilted his head to look at Faye who was editing a message on her phone, then turned back to look at Abbot, and said in a faint voice that only the two of them could hear, "Tiffany is a ticking time bomb. I must get rid of her as soon as possible."

Abbot understood what he meant and said, "Brandon probably wants to give up this useless pawn too."

Colin sneered, "So, we will make use of this opportunity."

Abbot nodded, "I got it."

Tiffany had been influenced by what she had constantly seen and heard from Old Mr. Farrell's side, so she was extremely interest-oriented.

Now, she had to clean up the mess, so she must maintain a superficial good relationship with Colin and must not harm Faye. But as soon as she got a firm foothold in the Farrell Group, she would try to hurt Faye. Because of the great hatred, Faye's existence would make her feel ill at ease all the time. Even if she weren't sure whether Faye knew the truth, she would never allow such a hidden danger to exist. She had not done it before because Old Mr. Farrell had been intimidating her.

Bur now...

When Colin was lost in thought with a serious face, his phone suddenly rang, so he came back to his senses with a softer expression. Then, he took out the phone from his pocket, glanced at the caller ID on the screen, and answered the call, saying, "Hi, Granduncle Brandon."
