Carlotta and Cindy were busy in the kitchen when Colin and Faye returned to the Fennth Community.

Hearing them come back, Cindy popped her head around the kitchen door and said, "Mr. and Mrs. Farrell, welcome back."

Colin leaned over in the hallway, opened the shoe cabinet, got the slippers out, and then replied in a deep and steady voice, "Mmm."

Cindy said, "Ms. Kemp and I are preparing lunch, and it will be ready soon."

Seeing him crouch down to help Faye change shoes, Cindy smiled and turned back to the kitchen.

Entering the kitchen, she walked up to Carlotta and whispered, "Mr. Farrell loves Mrs. Farrell very much."

Carlotta asked, "Why do you suddenly say so?"

Cindy winked, "He even helps her change shoes."

In the hallway, Colin held Faye's ankle to change her shoes and said solemnly, "Don't wear high heels too often. It is said that high heels will harm knees." Faye said, "But I'm used to wearing high heels."

Colin raised his eyes and said, "If you wear flat shoes more frequently, you will also get used to them over time."

Then, he stood up and continued with a serious face, "Only short people need to wear high heels. Are you short?" Faye replied, "No."

Colin didn't know why, but he did as per her request with a smile.

As soon as he lowered his head, Faye tiptoed forward, kissed his cheek, and quickly turned away.

Colin's slender fingers on the cabinet froze, and then he tapped his fingers rhythmically and lazily, stuck the tip of his tongue against the cheek which Faye had kissed, and then chuckled softly. Hearing his chuckle, Faye accelerated her steps to flee.

She walked so fast that she even moved her foot and hand on the same side.

Reaching the door of the kitchen, she calmed herself down and said, "Aunt Carlotta, do you need my help?"

Hearing this, Carlotta turned to look at her and smiled, "We are almost done. Go to sit on the sofa and eat some fruit. We don't need your help."

Looking at Faye's flushed face, she asked suspiciously, "Are you feeling unwell?"

Faye shook her head, "No."

Carlotta asked, "Why is your face..."

Before she could finish speaking, Cindy secretly nudged her and said to Faye with a smile, "Mrs. Farrell, please go out to eat fruit. Otherwise, your clothes will be stained with the cooking smell." Then, she walked up to Faye and pushed her out of the kitchen.

After watching her leave, Cindy went back to the kitchen and asked in a low voice, "Ms. Kemp, you haven't dated anyone before, right?"

Hearing this, Carlotta blushed and responded unnaturally, "Yes."

Cindy grinned, "No wonder you did not notice it."

After being pushed out of the kitchen, Faye sat in the living room for a while, then got up, and went back to the bedroom.

Colin hadn't asked Robert to get him clean clothes this morning, so he was taking a shower now.

Listening to the sound of him showering from the bathroom, Faye stood by the window and looked at the scenery outside, Spring was coming around the corner.

Colin had told her some time ago that when spring came, he would plant a lot of roses in the flowerbed below.

She was not very fond of flowers, but now, she did have some expectations.

When she was deep in thought, the phone in her pocket suddenly rang.
