Adeena walked slowly into the banquet hall with a goblet in her hand as she turned and headed toward the balcony. After everyone was no longer paying attention to her, she walked to the lounge through the door at the side. This was an upper-class lounge, and the doorway was empty.

Duke, who was sitting on the couch, looked at her. "I thought you weren't coming."
