Chloe

Cassie passed just a week ago, it’s surreal. Just two weeks ago, we met twice a week via video call for sessions, and now, there’s an absence, just nothing. There’s a crater in my chest, a massive cavern that only Cassie could ever fill.

Shelly has taken up residence in my humble abode following our conversation. I welcomed her with open arms, and I must admit, it’s been a blessing to have her company within these walls. We’ve kept each other’s minds occupied with nonsensical shenanigans. It’s accurate to assume we’ve been beneficial in irradicating the misery that has arrogated our lives.

She also informed me of the scandalous actions that transpired succeeding the funeral. The argument that led to her striking him– again, which prompted their fornication in avoidance of depression, to the harkened conversation between Eric and Maddy, which led to the revelation of Eric, yet again, copulating with Dr. Whore. This brought about the ultimate dispute where Shelly spewed hatred, ravaged his ego, and struck his face before shoving him out the door.

She inquired about my mental state after witnessing Axle cradling his child to have Selena ambush the procession. That distasteful female will stop at nothing to ensure every interaction Axle and I have will be abolished by her.

Speaking of harassing actions, Eric has continued to pester Shelly in every way possible, appearing at her place of business, flowers, text messages, phone calls, even appearing here. Shelly has all but taken out a restraining order against him.

On the brighter side, Shelly has settled in nicely, and we’ve found our flow despite the horrific circumstances. Yesterday, a delivery man appeared with a Manilla envelope stating we have a conference with her mother’s lawyer tomorrow to discuss the components of her will.

However, today, my nerves are on edge, I have my engagement with Dominic Valentino. I sadly attempted to Google him, but his picture was nowhere to be found. No social media, nothing.

When I contemplated my actions, I had a gut-wrenching laugh at myself for concluding a mafia leader, of all people, would establish any form of social media account. What would he post? “Hey everyone, check out the corpse my men have weighed down to live with the fishes.” What the hell was going on in this chaotic mind of mine?

Shaking my head back and forth, I take my leave, prepared to solicit support from a man who can cause me to vanish without a trace. I ponder for the briefest of moments; perhaps Jade is correct in her assumption this is a poor decision. However, closure is essential to my recovery.

My nerves crackled like a campfire on a cool summer night. However, I push my fear aside to have my knuckles meet the door. Viewing the bell to the left, my impatience sets in, ringing the doorbell, wondering if anyone has been made aware of my presence. A click captures my attention, triggering my head to veer towards the skyline, noticing a camera alight with a red dot.

I’m within view, despite that, will they allow me entry? A buzzing sound fills my ears, triggering the door to peek open, urging me to progress through the entryway.

I’m greeted by a muscular man in a suit that screams money, cologne wafting in the air, tantalizing my senses. My eyes roll over the entirety of his physique; a fitted shirt strains the threads against his chest, well groomed and the most beautiful light blue eyes that captivate your soul.

Strolling through the halls, the home scent of cedarwood infects my nose with a slight hint of– it’s hard for me to place. I’m led down corridors which end at an office, where I’m prompted to perch in front of a wooden desk and await my only chance at closure.

The aroma in the room is intoxicating; it resembles whiskey and cedarwood. How does such a distinct fragrance swim in the air? Especially the scent of whiskey.

Lost in the musing in my head, I’m jolted back to earth when the sound of a deep voice booms from behind me.

“Ms. Knox.”

Sprinting to my feet, I twist to face the Italian Mafia boss himself.

Dominic

She spins to face me when a ton of bricks lands on my chest. I’m left gazing at her. The woman standing before me is majestic, a site for all to marvel at. She’s beyond any beauty I’ve ever had the pleasure to grace my eyes upon.

Her perfect almond-shaped brownish eyes, the flawless pout of her supple lips, translucent creamy skin, her wavy brown hair that reaches all the way down her back to places I crave to caress, her massive breasts that give away just enough to be made aware they’ll bounce with every hard thrust, that exquisite round ass which needs to glow red with my handprint, to those perfectly shaped legs I crave to slip in between. She’s transcendent.

Fuck, my cock is already on high alert, twitching with each body part I scoured. How can she have such an effect on me before she has even uttered a single word? I long to savor every inch of her silky flesh.

Recollecting myself, I continue behind the desk in a shameful attempt to conceal the tent I’ve produced.

“Please, sit down.” I wave my hand as I take my rightful place on my throne. “To what do I owe the pleasure, Ms. Knox?”

“You know who I am?” Her eyes widened in shock.

“I was paid to locate you not too long ago.”

Her eyelids seal, scarlet consumes her checks in embarrassment.

“Right.” She releases a sigh while tilting her head.

Viewing her every breath is captivating; her photograph did not serve her any justice in the slightest. Regaining my composure, I speak with authority in my voice.

“Ms. Knox, I’m not a man who enjoys repeating himself. How can I be of assistance?” Noticing the prolonged silence, I decided to inquire once again.

Her eyes widened, “Right! Just as you found me, I require you to locate someone.”

Fascinating turn of events, Axle implored in dire need of locating her, and now, she desires for someone else to be found. I rub my chin with my thumb and forefinger, interested in her reasoning.

“Do you have any information pertinent to their recovery? Photographs? Name?”

Pursing her lips. “No. However, you were on his trail while investigating my whereabouts.”

My head moves up in slow motion, coming to the realization of just who she requires unearthing– her captor. “Am I correct to assume you require the location of your captor?”

Stiffening her posture. “Yes, except not just his location, his capture.”

Stroking my chin, I inquire further. “Illuminate me. Why would I allocate my resources to apprehend your captor?”

“Name your price, I’ll pay it.”

My head falls back in laughter, rebounding; I meet her sliced eyes. “Does it look like money is of any issue?” I wave to the expensive décor.

“No, however, economics is evident. Supply and demand. You have a service I require, and I have the means to handsomely compensate for your services.”

“A lesson in economics is futile. I’m well-versed in the language of economics. Nevertheless, I will be paid– however, in a different manner.”

The look on her face stones. “Money’s all I’m willing to offer.”

She plays hardball. It’s enticing and tightening my pants. “Then I guess you need to go elsewhere.”

Her mind reels with intentions of amending my stance. Little does she know I’m not an easy man to please nor read.

“Curiosity purposes– what’s your price?”

Got her! Bending to my will was inevitable. “Your time.”

“My time?” Wrinkles splayed across her forehead, eyes minimized just a bit.

“Yes.”

“Why?”

“You intrigue me.”

“How so?”

Chuckling, “Most women fall at my feet.”

The attitude in her voice entices me to lay her across my lap and spank that plump ass until it’s tomato red.

“No, girls fall at your feet. Women remain upright.” She stated with pride, filling the air.

“Well then, you intrigue me with your upright position.”

We begin a game of wits, staring directly into each other’s eyes before she speaks again. Her contemplation is arousing.

“For how long?”

“Time is required for location. However, I have a charity event on May 29th. You will attend as my plus one. If that day should arrive and he is not yet recovered, your services will no longer be required. You are free of your obligation. Nevertheless, until then, I will request your presence, AND you must appear when summoned.” I tilt my head to give the urgency of my proposal. “Agreed?”

The wheels in her head spin on its axis, contemplating if this is worth the risk.

“Yes, I agree.” Her posture straightens before she commences. “Understand– there will be no sex involved.”

Chuckling into the air, “I will not touch you. But heed my words, Ms. Knox, by the time we’re done, you’ll be imploring me for it.”

Slicing her eyes, she rises from her seat, as do I. “In your dreams.” She spins, making her way out of my office.

Oh, you are going to be a fun one to crack, my dear Chloe. Just wait.

Chloe

Shelly and I arrived at the lawyer’s office unsure what would transpire or the necessity for a meeting at all.

“Shell, are you okay?”

She just moved her head up and down. This has been her the entire journey to the lawyer’s office– silence.

In a lame attempt, I use inquisition to force some sort of utterance.

“Do you have any idea what this could possibly be about?”

“I have no idea, but I just want this to be over already.”

I embraced her, informing her I was here for it all. I wasn’t going to leave her side for anything.

“Ms. Daye and Ms. Knox?”

Both our heads jerked up at the voice calling our names. She waved us over, guiding us into an office.

“Mr. Walters will be with you in just a moment.”

She vanished just as quickly as she arrived.

“Hello, Ms. Daye.” Mr. Walters extends his hand for Shelly to shake.

“And you must be Ms. Knox.” He aims his attention towards me and extends his arm again. I nod my head in approval.

Taking his seat, he expels a breath.

“Let me start off by saying you have my deepest condolences. These meetings are never easy, and if you need to take a break at any moment, just say the word, and we will stop.”

We nod our heads in unison.

“I’ll start by reading her last will and testament, and if you have any questions, you can ask me at the end.”

“Okay,” Shelly whispers with a hint of anguish.

Mr. Walters commences reading off the paper verbatim.

Peering at Shelly, her chest is rising and falling at an increased speed when I interject.

“Mr. Walters, can you please fast forward to the part as to why we are here. I don’t believe we need all the legal jargon.”

Observing Shelly’s inability to raise her eyes from the floor, he clears his throat.

“Yes, of course. She left both of you her home in White Plains.” He extracts keys from his top drawer. “You are both equal owners of the home. She even left in the will that her savings will be used to pay for taxes and insurance for up to one year, and the rest shall be divided equally between both of you.”

My eyes widened, oh my, she didn’t. I can’t

Peering at Shelly, I see the tears streaming down her face, glistening in the light. My heart aches for her with every tear that overflows from her reddened orbs. I embrace her, hoping my love for her is felt through our connection.

Attempting to end the meeting, I inquire. “Is that all, Mr. Walters?”

“Actually, no. She also has letters, one for each of you.”

He fumbles through his files, extracting two envelopes, an envelope, each with our names written in script across the clean landscape.

Reaching for the envelopes and keys. “Thank you, Mr. Walters.” I place them in my purse, returning my full attention to Shelly, guiding her out of the office and into my car, where her silent tears evolve into a gut-wrenching sobbing incoherence.

The only thing I can muster is a hug to allow her to eliminate her sorrow. Viewing her in so much pain triggers my heart to pound in my chest. I will enable her to purge her emotions, remaining parked in the car, in each other’s arms for as long as she deems necessary.

Chloe finally gets her meeting with Dominic. What do you think of the terms?

What do you think Dominic meant by “You are going to be a fun one to crack, my dear Chloe. Just wait.”

Thoughts on Cassie leaving the house to both girls, taxes and insurance paid for a year, and then dividing the savings?

Thoughts? Theories?
