Chapter 448 Lanny Feng

At that moment, Ricky was even more reluctant to let Grace leave. She had confirmed that she actually had feelings for him. She had really just told him!

He understood that it might be a great opportunity for Grace to make impressive progress when she went back to the Phoenix tribe despite the risk. Still, she might be faced with greater danger there at the same time. He was very worried about her safety.

"Ricky, Soar, Tina, take care of yourselves! I will see you again someday in the future!" Grace turned around and bade goodbye to them.

She did not want to leave either. She truly wished that she could experience and search the world with Ricky! She had been looking forward to going to the Oriental College with him, but now, she was left no other choice but to go back to the Phoenix tribe. Her parents were there, and she could not just leave them to suffer alone.

Grace gazed sadly at Ricky for a long time as she left.

"All right. It's time for us to set off. Let's go," Jasmine said in an indifferent tone. It was a touching scene, but she really didn't care.

She knew that Grace had a good relationship with them for the time being. She was certain that, after Grace went back to the Phoenix tribe, established herself there, and became more powerful, she would gradually forget her humble human friends.

If he was a powerful warrior, would that still have happened? Would that strange woman still have been able to take Grace away? The answer was, apparently, negative.

Soar and Tina looked at Ricky and did not utter a single word. They knew that, no matter what they said to comfort him, it would not make any difference. They just stood aside quietly, waiting for Ricky to recover. They knew Ricky needed time to accept what had happened.

Jasmine, Grace, and the young man, on the other hand, were inside a flying airship too.

Their airship was much more advanced than Tina's.

"I hope you will keep your promise and let my parents go when we arrive,” Grace said in a serious tone as she stared at Jasmine and the young man.

"Don't worry. You have my word. You know what? You, and your parents, will be treated with respect by the whole tribe when we arrive,” the young man replied with a smile. "My name is Lanny Feng. May I know your name?"

"My name is Grace, Grace Xue," Grace replied in a distant voice.

Lanny Feng had tried to kill Ricky two times in the past, and Grace could clearly see that. There was no way she could bring herself to show kindness to him. No matter how powerful he was, no matter what kind of rare bloodline he had, he was nothing to her.

Lanny Feng was not a fool. He, of course, felt the resentment coming from Grace. He decided to ignore it anyway. "Grace, such a beautiful name!" He praised her enthusiastically.

Before his voice faded, Jasmine pointed at Grace all of a sudden. Immediately, a red light entered Grace's body and she suddenly passed out.

"What did you just do?" Lanny Feng blurted out in surprise. He did not understand why she had done that.

"There's something I need to say that I don't want her to know," Jasmine said. "You saw the man who claimed to be her disciple. I'm afraid he is more than just a disciple to her.”

"Yes, I can feel that too. But he is just an ordinary person. She will forget him sooner or later,” Lanny Feng said in a disdainful voice. He did not think that that man would be strong enough to be Grace's match.

"Maybe you're right. He is just an ordinary person. Still, I suggest that you go and warn him not to think about her anymore! Grace has the Phoenix Bloodline of Fire and Ice. She is a real member of the Phoenix tribe and is not allowed to have any relationships with ordinary people,” Jasmine said to him.

"Yes, I will do that right away," Lanny Feng replied. Then, he turned around and was ready to leave. "Keep this in mind, Lanny; just warn him and don't hurt him! If you hurt him, Grace may come after us if she learns that we hurt him someday,” Jasmine said before he disappeared.

"Don't worry. I will not hurt him. He is not even worthy enough to be killed by me," Lanny Feng replied with a nod. He gave off a bright flash, and then disappeared.

After a long time, Ricky had almost recovered from the pain and sadness brought on by Grace's departure. He had already figured out that he had to grow powerful if he wanted to win Grace back from the Phoenix tribe. That was the only way to solve his problem.

"It's time for us to leave now. Let's go to the Oriental College! I want to arrive there as soon as possible,” Ricky exclaimed with determined eyes after he stood up again.

Seeing Ricky refreshed, Soar and Tina knew that he had put his sorrow aside for the moment. They smiled at him sympathetically.

Neither of them mentioned Grace again, because they knew that it would bring up nothing but pain.

"Hello, human beings! Here we meet again.” At that point in time, an arrogant voice sounded again. It was Lanny Feng. He floated above them in the air.

"It's you! What are you doing here?" Ricky asked sternly when he saw that Lanny Feng returned. Soar and Tina also immediately put on alert. It was not a good sign that Lanny Feng had come back there alone.

"Grace asked me to tell you something,” Lanny Feng said, a canny smile resting on his face.

"What is it?"

"She said that she is no longer a friend of yours, and that she and you will go your separate ways from this day on," Lanny Feng said.

"Really? I doubt it! Tell her that I will come to the Phoenix tribe and take her away someday sooner or later!" Ricky replied in a cold tone.

"Ha-ha! You are nothing but a human being! How dare you claim that you will take her away from the Phoenix tribe! It seems that times have changed so much! Even a humble human being has the courage to talk so big!" Lanny Feng burst into laughter upon hearing what Ricky said.

After he was done laughing, he became serious again. "I'm warning you for the last time. Forget about Grace! She is not the kind of woman you can afford to think about! You are from a humble race while she is from a noble tribe. She will not be with you no matter what. Be careful! There will be consequences if you try to break the rules,” he said arrogantly to Ricky.

"I will never change my mind. I will break into the gates of the Phoenix tribe and take her away!" Ricky replied in the same serious tone. He would never give in when it had something to do with Grace.

"Oh, really? Well, I'm quite looking forward to that day! For now, I'm afraid I have to teach you a lesson! A human being is not allowed to challenge the Phoenix tribe! Even such offensive words will not be accepted against us!" Lanny Feng said.

The next moment, a burning red flame rose from his right hand. It was then transformed into a large flame ball and rushed towards the place where Ricky was standing.

Ricky, Soar, and Tina were engulfed by the fire ball before they could make any attempt to dodge. Boom! Boom! In the next second, a deep pit appeared in the ground with fire burning inside of it where the impact had landed.

"Humph! I wanted to kill you with my first attack! If I were not stopped, you'd have already been a dead man now! Thank you for your offensive words, though. You just provided me with an excellent excuse to kill you! Grace has the Phoenix Bloodline of Fire and Ice, so she is mine, and no one can take her from me!" Lanny Feng said disdainfully as he stared at the burning pit.

After he finished speaking, he turned around and left again.

The fire in the pit kept burning and was not extinguished completely until one hour later.

Ricky, Soar, and Tina came out from the Chaotic Fire Zone at that time.

"Your name is Lanny Feng, right? Someday, I will pay you back for what you just did!" Ricky said murderously as he glared in the direction that Lanny Feng had just disappeared in.
