Chapter 7 The Price of Disobedience

Layla’s heart skipped a beat. She tried to push Wesley away, but she couldn’t budge him at all.

Layla knew that Amy hadn’t gone far yet, and if Amy turned around, she would see her and Wesley embracing and kissing.

Layla couldn’t let Amy see such a scene.

Layla’s heart raced, and she used all her strength to push Wesley away, but he deepened the kiss, leaving her unable to escape, like a drowning fish.

Without any other recourse, Layla could only pray to God that Amy would never turn back…

Perhaps her prayers were answered, or perhaps Amy was too concerned about Wesley’s health and was in a hurry to take the car. Until Wesley let go of Layla, Amy did not turn her head.

Layla regained her freedom and took deep breaths.

But before Layla could catch her breath, Wesley grabbed her and pinned her against the nearby wall

Layla, you have to pay a price for disobeying me.Without waiting for Layla’s reaction, Wesley’s relentless kisses fell upon her again

Layla tried to push Wesley away, but his kiss grew more fervent.

waist as if trying to merge her into his body.

Don’t do that!Layla’s body tensed as she whispered in a trembling voice. Her voice was low, filled with tension and panic

Her words were muffled by Wesley’s kiss, and even her breath was seized by him. Layla suddenly felt that this kiss was like their relationship, like her whole life, completely controlled by Wesley

Blushing with humiliation, Layla burst into tears. She couldn’t understand why Wesley, who was about to get engaged, wouldn’t let her go

Wesley, Layla, where are you?”

Amy’s voice came from nearby.

Wesley paused for a moment, and just when Layla thought he would let her go, he viciously bit her lips, then forcefully sank his teeth into her shoulder as if he wanted to tear off a piece of flesh

Layla endured the pain, trembling all over, but didn’t dare to make any sounds

Wesley continued biting her shoulder for a full minute before stopping. He looked into her eyes and said, Layla, our relationship will only end when I say it ends.”

Wesley’s gaze was chilling, and each word pierced through Layla’s heart

clothes as if nothing had happened.

Aren’tAren’t you afraid?Layla’s body was a little soft. She hid herself in the darkness and asked in a trembling voice, You’re about to get engaged.”

Wesley didn’t answer her question but said coldly, “Tonight, at midnight.”

Watching Wesley turn and walk away, Layla wanted to refuse, but she couldn’t find a reason to do so.

After all, Layla had already sold herself to Wesley. Six years ago, she had already sold herself to him

Layla no longer belonged to herself, so she knew she couldn’t refuse Wesley’s demands. That transaction six years ago had deprived her of the right to refuse Wesley.

Layla just didn’t understand why Wesley, who was about to have a fiancée, wanted to continue their relationship.

Layla thought Wesley should completely cut ties with her.

Amy’s voice came from nearby once again. Wesley, where did you go just now?”

I went to the restroom.”

Where’s Layla?”

She had something to do, so she went back.”

Oh,Amy said with some guilt, I was supposed to send her

today, but not only did I fail to do so, I also delayed her. I’m really sorry.”

No need to apologize.”

Huh?”

We can send her home tomorrow and make up for it.”
